Love this song! Thanks for a great reaction and to the person who requested it. In the radio/album version, she sings: "Dim all the lights, sweet darling, 'cause tonight IT'S ALL THE WAY." But in this live performance, I noticed how she changed it twice to: " ' cause tonight IS ON ITS WAY." :-) As Donna got older, I think she tried to tone down some of the racier lyrics -- and moans and groans -- in many of her hit songs. :-) And even though the lyrics you read aloud included "Do what you want / You can use me all up / Take me bottom to top / Don't leave me just one drop" ... she did NOT sing these lyrics in this live performance. :-) ... KSO, listen to the studio recording if you get a chance on your own. It has lots of effects and sounds pretty cool! ... You probably already knew this, but a Victrola (as in "turn up the old Victrola") is the brand name of an old-fashioned wind-up/hand-cranked record player/turntable. :-)
