2021-02-21 21:20:44 +0000 UTCHaven't seen the 1976 movie musical "Bugsy Malone" in forever. Jodie Foster would have been about 13 then. The cast is made up of all kids and teens who are acting like adults. The story is set in New York City and about the mobster life during the 1920s during Prohibition and the bootlegging of liquor ... and loosely based on the exploits of real-life gangsters Bugsy Siegel from New York City and Las Vegas and Bugs Moran and Al Capone from Chicago. Obviously, the sex and violence had to be toned down. considering the ages of the actors and the film's G rating.
