Yeah, I guess it's a case of "windows is huge on the desktop, we'll secure that", "Linux is huge on servers, we'll secure that" and this leaves macOS as the ignored platform.

Working with our clients, who many are in financial, tech, and even defense contractors, I can say without a doubt that often the MacOS devices fail security tests at a much higher rate. All the focus is on Windows and Linux servers as mentioned. Even many of the regulations and security controls are based on locking down Windows and the domain.

Just to play the devil's advocate: is it perhaps more akin to suing the casino after seeing the dealer cheat, causing loss of money? If crowdstrike offered false assurances and didn't follow protocols?
