What caused the big issue was a content update that is automatically pushed. I think one of the points they announced is that they will stagger this type of updates in the future.

2024-07-31 15:25:51 +0000 UTCI'm no so sure about Crowdstrike being found totally guilty... I'm not part of cybersec so I don't know if Crowdstrike automatically pushes to your clients without your permission. If a client chose not to test and just deploy, some of the onus has to be on them.
