I was also happy to read the news about Philips using Linux, until I read the “footnote”. I do understand, but at the same time, don’t understand why these companies have to add insult to injury by charging additional fees for products we have already purchased. Considering the higher end Philips TVs have Google/Android TV onboard……makes me think…..I’ll never buy either type.
