So i think it is now safe for me to tell my theory. Going back to the first scene in the bathroom with madoka's mom. Madoka doesn't just ask for her mom's opinion but asks her to make the decision for her. Throughout these 11 episodes she hasn't made a single decision on her own. It's always been someone guiding her to the decision they want. Mami guided her to be a magical girl (hell she even told her what wish to make), Homura decided for her to not become a magical girl, kyubey put her into positions to make her into a magical girl. It seems that madoka was living life very passively (like she was telling us everytime that she thought she was useless). But the fact was that she didn't want to try and make any decisions for herself as she never gave any pushback when people decided/strongly suggested these things to her. Also to answer the question about why kyubey allowed homura her wish. Its important to know that the girls themselves grant their own wishes, with their own power. Kyubey just facilitates the wish coming true. Hence the "You're wish has overcome entrophy" part. Once the girls form the contract he can't stop their wish from manifesting. But that also means that the girls can't wish for something more than what they are strong enough to accomplish.

2025-05-27 23:26:42 +0000 UTCHomura's hourglass clock shield while useless to attack is very versatile including time stop, time reversal and infinite storage, it has an upper compartment with one month worth of time sand making her able to stop time for one month at most, once all of the sand falls into the lower compartment of the shield she cannot use time stop anymore, also once that happens she can only trigger time reversal by rotating the clock shield anti-clockwhise to switch it's upper and lower compartments, once she does that time is reversed and she once again is able to use one month worth of time sand to stop time, this means that her prep time to steal military gear was absurd, likely around $17,037,114 USD in weapons stolen, well... probably she cleaned few armories from American/JDF forces with time stop, there's even a weird event of weapons that went "missing" at the JSDF and US military bases in Japan while the show was airing the community heard "news" about several rocket launchers and surface to air missile launcher like ones Homura used against Walpurgis Night, such story even inspired a meme popular in few message boards about random weapon manager soldier claiming Homura ruined his life. Watching this show while it aired was really memorable experience, for gods sake episode 10 was earth shattering for the whole community, 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami alert that appeared while Madoka was about destroy the world was also mind boggling, the following delay was also pure suffering.
