Here is your exclusive April Patroncast!
Added 2020-04-30 15:03:37 +0000 UTCHey guys!
Here is your exclusive April Patroncast! I really like making these, and I'm considering making them twice a month if I can find enough stuff to talk about (that shouldn't be a problem, I love the sound of my own voice).
This month, we have questions about my workflow for video editing on Linux, and about what I would and would not say to someone who has never heard about Linux before, as well as which distro i would recommend to someone who has never used Linux before.
I also talk about Linux desktop nostalgia, how the current situation is affecting my work on the channel, how I fixed my audio and video quality problems, and installing ethernet in my office.
I hope you guys like it, and as always, don't hesitate to leave me your questions in here or in DMs, I'll answer them in the next Patroncast!
Now, for the topics I'll work on in May, it seems that Lutris gets the spot for the Project of the Month, and I'll be giving my opinion on "Do distros still matter" in the next vlog ;) For those who voted for the other topics, don't worry, they'll come back in future polls.
See you in the next video (tomorrow for your regular dose of Linux news)!

2020-05-04 20:09:01 +0000 UTCI'm using elementary OS, and I just installed resolve with the downloaded bin file from their website, no need for make-deb at all :) I had to install opencl as well, but that's it!
