KDE 5.18 LTS

Hey guys,

I played with the newest KDE Plasma release, 5.18 LTS, and it was really nice. KDE is maturing nicely, and the defaults are getting better and better. I used KDE Neon for my tests, and everything ran beautifully, and smoothly, on my desktop and my laptop.

This desktop is pulling me more and more, and although Ican't see myself switching from elementary OS just yet, Plasma definitely has the potential to make me wonder if I should try and stick with it a little bit longer.

I kept my partition this time, and I'll probably try it out a lot more, probably in my workplace context, just to make it a "do or die" situation :)

In terms of video, it's a very simple one, no specific fluff, although I'm still having that Kdenlive audio export problem: the first tens of seconds of the audio don't get rendered, sometimes on both tracks, sometimes on just one of them. It's really annoying, and explains why the music track starts weirdly after the intro: I couldn't find a solution this time...

Anyways, here are the rushes and the project file. Quick update on the Pinephone video: I'm not going to make it right now. The phone has proven very problematic for me, no OS I tried can stand to a reboot, and I have to reflash it everytime, which is not a good look for the project.

Since no one else seems to have that exact issue, I have to assume it's an isolated incident that I'll try to resolve before I explore the phone in more details. Stay tuned for more info :)
