The tiny man's voice, unfortunately, did not carry to the large man's ears, so the next best thing was to punch at his fingers.
That seemed to work! The giant's hand raised, and his eyes fell on Tyler. They remained unchanged as his hand hung in the air. Eventually, the hand would make a return, reaching for him.
Tyler began running away, not realizing how badly he did not want to be picked up. His eyes still remained unchanged. He honestly thought his father would recognize him!
The tiny man fell back as a giant finger blocked his view. This was it, he was about to pick up between two fingers, and all he could hope is he wasn't crushed.
As the fingers enclosed around him, he was roughly adjusted between them as he was raised high above the chair. Turning his head, he attempted to call out or reach a hand, but his flailing was weak, and his breath was taken out of him. He looked up as best he could and saw his father's eyes inspecting him, his gaze still unchanged.
Eventually, the giant man's expression did change, though it was one of utter apathy. The giant hand moved slightly before Tyler was unceremoniously dropped to the floor at his feet, not given a second thought.
