The Mystery of Shagworthy's Legacy

We are super excited to be in a position to announce this project with the Newgrounds cut coming first hopefully soon, followed by the extended Patreon version some months later. There are several mechanics that we have been working on to help with immersion into the parody. One being the investigation scenes. These allow you to find the mysteries and look for clues to help solve them. The second is the fear mechanic, since you play as shaggy fear is something you constantly have to manage. This will open up certain dialogue options and scene access. I personally (SmokeShank) will be keeping you all up to date on further progress moving forward. Here at Gunsmoke Games we re-invest the money you give us to make more high quality games for all of you to enjoy.

The old ones with the "rerunning backgrounds" (60-90s) or the more recent ones that have to have a hint or 'too much' of reality in them (90-today)? I have to ask because I read the title "The Mystery of Shagworthy's Legacy" and I remember from watching an old rerun of the old Scooby-Doo's cartoon and remember that Shaggy had an Uncle called Shagworthy so it made me think of the old ones but the style you are using are more from the cartoon from 2010 one of "Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated."
