Rose eyes widen at the hat as it places her in Cedric’s old house. Hufflepuff is known to house people that are finders and loyal friends. But that last part could’ve been said about all four Hogwarts houses.

Dumbledore gives a knowing glance at Rose with his twinkling blue eyes. His crooked nose looking the exactly same from last year. Rose green eyes however lands on the blackening hand of the old headmaster.

Rose moves along to the yellow house with a badger as its crest. A few friendly faces greets her as she sit with three ladies. The older 7th years warmly greets her into the Hufflepuff folds. The presumable leader of the group a blonde dirty hair  lady introduce herself.

“I’m Penny Heart. It’s wonderful to meet a new Hufflepuff student. This is Sarah Smith. She got a brother somewhere in here. I forget his name.”

Sarah a pale ghostly shade of color speaks up. “His name is…”

“Does it look like I care what your brother name is? No. No I don’t. This is Clara Dempty.” Penny points at a lady who cloak couldn’t hide her thickness. Her shape a bit chubby but is extremely pleasant to admire. “Now I’ll love to invite you into our little group. We are the best looking Hufflepuffs. And we are at the top of the food chain. I’m looking for a new girl to take over when I graduate this year to carry on our traditions. Do you think you’re up for it Rose?”

Does Rose agree to join this group of ladies?

Yes why not

Penny smile after hearing Rose words. “Well that settle. We have a new girl in our crew. Tomorrow we’ll show you how we initiate our new recruits.”

Rose eyes find the other two women’s eyes seeing a look of puzzlement and wretched in their eyes. Both of them not providing safe privileges of what to come for Rose tomorrow.

Rose turn to face the headmaster as he gives a long speech about Tom riddle and how he became the dark lord. Albus tries to convince everyone that they shouldn’t look at each other as enemies but as friends.

The three houses look at Slytherin as they knew that this speech pertains to them. As they have family members within the death eater group. The green house could easily be sway to Voldemort cause.

She felt a hand on her thigh as she sees a Hufflepuff student looking straight ahead. “I know it a scary time. You could come to my four poster and I can keep you safe from any death eaters.”

Does Rose slap his hand away or let it persist?
