Process Video 12-16
Added 2024-12-16 21:45:00 +0000 UTCThis is a interesting one. I often design new characters on the fly when they make their first appearance. Curiously, the old comic book artist in me sometimes takes this opportunity to emerge and I sort of miss the tone of the strip with a new design. Krampus went through a few iterations here as I tried to tamp down the “monsterousness” of the character so he’d fit better in the world of Crabgrass. I think I eventually got there but it’s fun to watch the process.
