It’s strange how I can relatively easily switch between the two (helps being British as we are taught the metric system but have enough imperial around in usage to be aware of both to know rough equivalents) except when it comes to Fahrenheit. Don’t even know where to start with that!
I get both systems have positives and negatives but I prefer the one (°C) where you know easily if the car will be iced over in the morning as it is below 0

It's warming up now. We have 2F now, but still expect -9F overnight. By next Wednesday, it will be above freezing so I can fill my gas tank without freezing my fingers.

We have enough snow, but for some reason no one wants to hang out outside when it's -40....

The last few years, I have seen no snowmen, because the snow is just not there. You could make 2 snow feet, and label them Ozymandias. To make a real snowman you have to begin with 2 feet of snow. :) In my youth, we had a year when I built snow forts by digging down to solid ground and piling it around the outside. If you wanted it bigger, you didn't have far to go for more snow. I had to dig paths from the house to the street 3 times in one week, the snow being deeper each time.

I always ran out of snow when I tried my grand plans for forts and igloos.
