THE GREENS ARE GREENER
Added 2022-05-04 22:00:00 +0000 UTCI didn't have my first garden tomato until I was full grown. In fact just about everything I ate as a kid came out of a box or a can. It's obvious now that processed food is terrible but who can afford to eat natural? Not cartoonists.

When we moved to a small town, and had a couple of acres to work with, I really leaned what gardening is. We grew beans, peas, potatoes, raspberries, corn, asparagus, strawberries, cucumbers, rhubarb, and more I can't remember. I only tried gardening for a couple of years after I got married, and decided we were not gardeners.

2022-05-04 23:24:22 +0000 UTCMy grandfather was an avid gardener having grown up on a farm. I was a weird kid always eating homegrown radishes. Grew tomatoes, radishes, carrots, cabbages, corn, cucumbers, strawberries and had a small group of fruit trees (crabapples, pears, plums, cherries. I used sit in the cherry tree, which had the perfect perch, all the time and eat them).
