PICTURE DAY!

Miles is just trying to share his drip, Kev. It's all love!

Did anyone else hate picture day? I don't know how but it managed to sneak up on me every single year for twelve years of school. Back in the day you had to order copies in a  package of varying sizes the day of. Wallet sized photos were like GOLD to our parents. They'd give them to friends and relatives like trading cards. Time were weird.

PICTURE DAY!

I didn't mind picture day until I was in the third or forth grade [can't remember which and its been a long time...]. Anyway, my class went to take our pictures right after lunch and no one told me I had peanut butter on my face. When the photos came, my mom was so angry with me because I couldn't be bothered to wipe peanut butter off my face. Now that I am a substitute teacher, I look at the kids and go, 'Yeah... we weren't really that concerned about a little pb or j on our face at that age.' HAHAHA...

Up to 11th grade, we lined up in the gym for our pictures, and the photographer provided a backdrop and studio lights, so it didn't look like it was taken in the gym. For our senior pictures, we took a field trip to a photography studio and got professional photos. We had several taken, and selected the best from the proofs.

Hm... I am trying to fathom how anybody for any reason could actually get Kevin in suit with brushed hair. The words that come to my mind are wrestling with a pole cat

I actually missed picture day my senior year now that I remember so no yearbook picture. Luckily I was voted most creative and they took those pieces later. so I got a big solo feature in that section and I didn’t have to wear that fake tuxedo every other guy wore

aww, could'a been a special one Kev. Never hated picture day myself, my parents just wanted me to smile and I got out of class for twenty minutes.

I may still have my Senior Yearbook somewhere. The rest are gone, and pictures, too. Still have some of my kid's school pictures.
