I actually draw these strips like three months in advance. The snow can only be explained as wishful thinking 🙄

Hey Artist! I will be more than happy to shovel your snow on Christmas day. Why yes I do live two to three small towns over and have read our forecast. This is why I am moved by the Christmas spirit to be so generous.

That said we could well have some this year. 3 weather systems are coming at us from all angles. The normal “warm” air from the southeast off the Atlantic and powered by the Gulf Stream (which is why we don’t get much snow compared to Canada and north USA) when we are at similar latitudes. Plus there’s a cold system coming around from Siberia and the NE. Where the two meat means a lot of rain… and where cold enough snow.

What’s with the snow and Christmas association anyway? There’s not much of the world that has snow then, especially parts which celebrate Christmas. Northern continental America. Central Europe especially around the mountainous regions and northern Scandinavia and a lot of Russia.
Fun (and somewhat bizarre) fact: over here in the UK it’s statistically more likely to snow on Easter Sunday than Christmas Day.

Ok, I am in. I have a snow blower and my secret ninja snow shovel. I can save humanity.
