Style drift
Added 2019-06-25 14:00:03 +0000 UTCOne of the interesting things about drawing a comic strip is watching the art style drift over time. on the left is a panel from one of the first Crabgrass strips and on the right is a panel from a strip completed only this week. The differences aren’t huge. In fact they are mostly from the neck up, but they are pretty glaring to me, Curtis’s hair has gotten lumpier over time, while Kevin’s has gotten more angular. The boy’s eyes have also become a bit more bulbous and dominate their faces more. Who knows where the art style will end up as even more time passes.
