The Occasional Edit
Added 2018-06-28 02:56:28 +0000 UTCSometimes (actually more like 100% of the time) I have to go back and make edits to a strip that's already been posted. Most times it's just to correct a spelling or grammar error but occasionally I've got to put right some visual element that was bugging me. The above example is from this comic.
The comic probably would have been fine had I left it alone but I felt the character's expressions and postures were a little off the mark. Leeray's body language initially paralleled his dialogue. But after completing the strip, I felt he needed to react to Jamal's extreme posture. Jamal on the other hand was a bit too over the top with his expression in the original. I wanted his body language to convey frustrated anger and having him shout rather than growl through clenched teeth tipped things too far into anger. I'm pleased with the final result on this one.
