Isn't the statement of a 'witness' considered hearsay? Until the officers actually verify that statement with their own eyes, it shouldn't factor in. Otherwise, a hostile neighbor can cause problems for anyone that they don't like, just by claiming that their neighbor threatened them with a weapon...

2021-12-08 02:21:12 +0000 UTCI’m not sure I agree with the fact that he was attempting to flee I mean the encounter seemed consensual he did shake the officers hand and I don’t think they made it really clear that he was being detained not to mention he may understand himself as being on private property not public and that they don’t have a right to be on his property and they didn’t really make it clear that he was being investigated for a crime more of a civil issue honestly
