Twine Teaser - First Session with Mike

It’s Monday, which means it’s time for your individual session with Mike over at his home. You’re still feeling a bit uneasy in some ways after that introductory session on Saturday, but you figure it’s just beginner’s jitters. You arrive at his home on time and he ushers you inside. Today he’s wearing a set of hot pink booty shorts and a crop top. You’re a little embarrassed on his behalf, but then again, if you looked like he did, maybe you’d feel less self-conscious about wearing that sort of thing. If you put on a crop top, your whole gut would be flopping out, after all.

“Alright Ben,” he said when you were inside, “Before we get going on the workout today, I thought it would be good to start off with a bit of hypnosis, like we did during our session with Jack on Saturday.”

“Oh,” you say, “I...Yeah, honestly, I don’t know how I feel about that,” you say, not really wanting to say what you remember from that odd experience with him and Jack.

“Are you feeling nervous?” Mike asked.

“I just...is it really necessary?” you reply.

He motioned for you to take a seat in one of the armchairs in the living room, and he sat across from you, twiddling the amulet around his neck. It was catching the light so easily, just like before. You had to consciously try and keep your eyes away from it.

“Weight loss isn’t easy,” Mike said, “after all, if it was easy, I likely wouldn’t have a business! But people think that it’s difficult for the wrong reasons. You see, it’s not the body that you have to struggle with, it’s the mind. I know this will sound silly, but one of the reasons folks struggle to lose weight is because they simply don’t believe they can. Either they think they lack the willpower, or they think they deserve to be that size for some reason. Often they don’t even realize it! One of the cornerstones of my practice is trying to find and remove those mental blocks so that they don’t get in your way.”

It took you a few moments to realize that Mike had come to a natural pause, the gem in his necklace was just so...why was it so hard to look away from it?

“I think you’re one of those people, Ben,” he said, “I think you don’t believe you deserve the body you really want. But if we’re going to get that body for you, well, you’re going to have to give some things up. You’re going to have to dig deep. You don’t mind going deep, do you Ben? Going down, deep, sliding right down like before. It was so easy, wasn’t it? It’s even easier this time, because you know the way. You know exactly how to slide right back into that easy, comfortable darkness. In fact, you can go even deeper now that you know where it is. So deep that you don’t even see the light above you anymore. So deep that all you can see is the light flickering from my little jewel here, and all you can hear is the sound of my voice.”

You didn’t even have a chance to resist it. By the time he finished, you were deep again, so deep. The bit of you that was still apprehensive was far away now, up in the light. Down here, there was you, and the voice, and the gem, and that was all.

“Do you like your body, Ben?” Mike asked you.

You shook your head from side to side, slowly, and were a bit surprised that you were. You thought that it hadn’t bothered you, but with so much stripped away...you weren’t happy. You were getting older, hurting more. You didn’t like being this large, but...but what other choice was there?

“Were you big when you were a kid, Ben?”

You nodded. You’d always been big for your age.

“Someone told you that you deserved this body, didn’t they? Who was the first person who said that to you, and made you believe it?”

You didn’t expect to have an answer, but one rose from the depths, much to your surprise. It was someone you hadn’t thought much about for years. His name was Devin, and he had been your occasional bully from middle school through high school. It had never been that bad, you’d told yourself, but you were an easy target, mostly because of your size. Other kids got it worse from Devin, but you hadn’t been spared, and...and that was when you’d believed it, wasn’t it? When you’d accepted that this is what you deserved. That this was the body you were doomed to have. You’ve always been ashamed of it, haven’t you? Because of that?

“What kind of guy was Devin?” Mike asked.

“He was a jock”, you said.

The star of the football team, dating all of the cheerleaders. He made it his personal mission to tell everyone that he was better than them in one way or other, and when it came to you, it was easy. You were fat. You were disgusting. You deserved to be pushed into the lockers, you didn’t deserve sex, you weren’t worth...anything, were you?

Been plugging away at the twine game, "Healthy Rivalry" this week, getting the framework hammered out so I can start laying in some actual writing over it. I'm pretty excited with how it's turning out so far! Here's a little teaser of some story from early in the narrative. No sex yet, sorry! This one is a bit of a slow burn. Hope you enjoy it!

You relay this to Mike, and he nods, just listening. When he had gotten enough of the picture, he told you to stop. “Alright Ben, here’s what we’re going to do. Do you think Devin has any right to tell you what you can and can’t be?”

You shake your head no...but it’s harder to believe it, even in the depths. Mike spends a few more minutes psyching you up, and he tells you a story. A new memory. One day, you stood up to Devin. One day, you’d had enough of him, and you beat him, didn’t you? It didn’t...sound right, but you could almost see it. Almost remember it. When you came up from the depths a few minutes later, you didn’t recall much of anything, but you felt that something was different. A little seed inside you, something that was going to germinate, maybe, under the right conditions. You felt, for the first time in ages, that maybe...maybe there was possibility. Maybe you could change.

“Alright, that was very helpful,” Mike said, “But for now, why don’t we get down to business, eh? Let’s get down there, and get warmed up.”

You check the time when you get downstairs, and discover you’ve been at Mike’s place for hours already, but you don’t remember any of it. You know this should concern you, and yet...it doesn’t. Besides, you like being here, don’t you? You like being around Mike. His presence is comforting, and more than once, you find yourself looking at him, and your cock stirs in a rather...unsettling way. But you can’t be attracted to him! He’s not your type at all, right? Certainly he’s way out of your league. And yet...that little spark of possibility refuses to go out, and you leave that day sweaty, satisfied, and feeling...positive.

When you get home and look in the mirror, you’re surprised to find that you already look a bit slimmer than you had when you’d left--or at least, you think you do. Maybe Devin was right about that mind stuff being part of the struggle. You’d started this program feeling frustrated and apprehensive. Some of that positivity is taken out of you when Jack gets home, and cuts into you with one of his trademark barbs, but even that hits a little less than before. You climb into bed, and it’s not long before you’re fast asleep, ready for a new day tomorrow.
