Poll problem

Conflicts can easily arise in polls if people don’t get the choice they voted for. Though Melon, you know we’re lucky enough to have you want to include your fans’ choice in such polls — though, as a passionate and creative artist such as yourself, I’d want you to do what YOU find most interesting and enjoyable. Know that I don’t take your generosity for granted, but as an artist, it might be good to take breaks from polls every now and then to focus on what you personally admire most in terms of what to draw and create; making polls and community-decided projects more of an exciting rarity that your fans can look forward to every now and then while you can work on the pieces you personally enjoy between polls. Just a thought <3

I mean, I think having a 'popular' poll and a 'less popular' poll would be fine. But I agree it's really not that big of a deal, I love anything that comes out of this. Whatever stresses him the least for sure.

For me, it's not that I *don't* want to see the popular pokemon; it's that I'd really prefer to see you drawing pokemon that you either never have before, or at least haven't in a long time. (and not just pokemon, but characters from other things besides pokemon too) So the reason I would prefer to see the popular pokemon off the polls is because, quite simply, if they're there on the poll they *always* win, which means other pokemon won't get drawn just because the popular ones are on it. Like somebody else mentioned, maybe one or two months of the year you could set aside to do a "less popular" poll with only options available being stuff haven't (recently) drawn.

Sorry if my comment sparked this, that wasn't any intention I had. I just see popular Pokes all the time elsewhere and the underdogs never get a chance to shine. I wanted to provide an opinion whether it was right or wrong. Didn't mean to cause or create stress! Whatever won, won and I would have been fine with it at the end of the day. ^^ I'm not one to tarnish what the majority wanted.

Maybe take a break, and don't let work ruin your health. You either take a break when you want and come back feeling refreshed, or you take a break when you didn't intend to and come back a mess.

I do love Ninetails don't get me wrong, but no one ever really draws Kangaskhan all that much. Or Sandslash. Kangaskhan could be a history teacher and sandslash a superhero xD sorry for the undue stress. I don't want to take your artistic freedom away. All I ask is you give us, some love. Thank you for bringing this up to your fans.

I don't want you to delete your sketch or abandon the work you've already done. Maybe in the future, you can do a "loser's bracket" poll occasionally where we vote on characters or themes that didn't do well in a previous poll.

I’m fine with whatever, if you do pull out the popular mons that really only leaves thievel and nickit as “new mons”. A suggestion would be to make a new poll between the current three winners and remove the least popular and add thievel or nickit in their place.

I joined when the month's theme was Monster Hunter, so I wasn't around when Zoroark was done the first time. Personally I don't see a problem with the mons that are on the list and I also don't think it's a problem with them being popular, I see it as the top three fitting the theme of milf professors.

Thank you for being so considerate, Melon; I truly appreciate you thinking about us and considering our opinions. Personally I would be just fine with seeing the popular Pokémon as long as it's in different situations, but I can easily see why people are tired of seeing the same Pokémon repeatedly. Who causes the fabulous Melon stress? Your work is amazing no matter the character chosen. And if you want to appease those who find your picks "boring", perhaps make a little note to yourself to pick different characters from time to time to keep things fresh. But for me, I like YOUR art, no matter the character picked.

I don't see any problem in these popular fox pokemon specifically, because at the top 3 of the last pool(zoroark, delphox and alola ninetales), zoroark was the only one that you do a set before. Personally I would love to see alola ninetales in your style. Hope you don't get too much stressed Melon <3
