There's this very blatant episode of Dexter where these "Shoe Gnomes" show up to fix Dexter's shoes... But then become obsessed and infatuated with Dee Dee's bare feet. So after being rejected by their new idol, they finally decided to tie some loose ends, using some shoe laces specifically, and... make sure they can enjoy Dee Dee's (and her friends Mee Mee and Lee Lee) feet for themselves! They girls have... mixed reactions about it.
