This week is Becky Blackbell from Spy Family. I'm hoping for it to be done this week, but I want to actually do something extra with it, so it might bleed over into next week. ;)

Been fiddling a lot with animation for the earlier shots, since I don't have as much experience with hands/feet or any kind of walking. I think they're turning out at least reasonably well though.
For this week I think I'm going to skip ahead some and do one of the loops.

Not quite done with this one yet, but I like how it's turning out so far. It's been too long since I've done any Kanna stuff.
The animatic is all done and comes in at just under 3 minutes. There will still be some wiggle room depending on how long I want looped shots to go for.
But I'll be able to move on in the next work period. I'm not sure whether I'll be starting with backgrounds or keyframing; it might just be some of both.

I'm close to finishing the animatic; it will be done some time this week. I think it's turning out pretty well so far.

The animatic is up to shot 13, so past the half way point. I'm still ahead of schedule, but I'm going to see if I can get a smaller animation done this next week to push that even farther.

Storyboarding is done with a final count of 24 cuts. I've started on the animatic but I'm not very far into it, only up to cut 5. I've been putting time into learning audio stuff, which I hope to include for this project.
I finished this early, so I can finish up the Komekko storyboards this week as well as start on the animatic.

I'm mostly through the storyboarding, I'm expecting the final cut count to be mid-to-high 20's. I'll be able to finish it off between other work so I'll be doing the animatic next project period.
I've started work on my next extended project, which is going to be Komekko x Kazuma focused.
I'm hoping to make it a two-parter, so at the start here I'm putting some effort into pre-production and making some of my own reference material. I'm going to be doing more of that this week as well as starting the storyboarding. I won't have a good timeline for part 1 until the storyboarding is done.
Like last project, I'm going to be doing 2 weeks on and 2 weeks ...

This week is Beatrice, and it's coming along good.
In other news though, after finishing this animation I'm going to be starting on my next long project. More details on that will be coming in the first progress update for that in two weeks.

Next up is Senko from The Helpful Fox Senko-San. It's still gonna be a day or so before I start the final linework after trying some minor changes.
The final linework is just about done. I'm not going to match the line style in the movie outright. I'm not confident in being able to do the sketch-like linework well, so I might try to do some kind of stylizing in post.
I've started work on the first of the requests: Kyomoto from Look Back. Very good movie if you haven't seen it.
I haven't actually begun animating yet, just been trying to make a layout that looks good. Anything could still change, but this seems like the direction I want to go.
Apologies for the delay, but it is done now. I underestimated how long it would take for doing both backgrounds and a lot of effects.

Just a short 1 week project to squeeze in before the holidays, as I won't have time to do any animating this week. Might do an illustration if I can find the time. I'll resume animating next week, so there won't be any update post until January 5th. (The uncensored Kanna x Saikawa animation will still be going up on baraag on the 1st.) I won't be going straight into another super long project, but I do have some ideas for what the next one will be. For now though, I want to try doing a 4 week...

All backgrounds are done and I'm starting on coloring tomorrow. I'm expecting to have this whole thing wrapped up by next Sunday.

My schedule is finally back to normal after that outage and getting caught up on other things. I managed to get the rest of the wide shot backgrounds done this week, so there are just the closeup ones that won't take near as long. Fingers crossed I can have the whole animation done in two weeks, but there is a chance it will extend into a third.

I was fairly short on time this week, so only 2 of the backgrounds are fully done. They were faster to do than expected though, so I should still make good time overall.
