Sakura Kinomoto

I'm not *entirely* happy with how this turned out, but it's not terrible. I'll probably try to do something more familiar next time. I'll do a blogpost on Monday for my next project, but I'm not positive on the subject yet. If anyone would like to make a character suggestion feel free to message me or leave a comment. I won't make any guarantees, so don't consider it an official request, but I can put them in my maybe later pile if I think they're interesting.

WIP - Sakura Kinomoto

Making good progress so far, I'll be able to start on final animation linework soon. Thought maybe I'd add a little something for Cerberus in the background but not sure if I'll keep it yet. I should have everything done by this weekend.

A Nostalgic Choice

The next character to be animated will be Sakura Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura. As one of the first anime I'd started with, Cardcaptor Sakura is held in something of a special place for me, so I hope I'm able to do it justice.

I should have a WIP post out next Monday.

I'm mostly finished with a rough draft, though I think I want to change up the facial expressions. I'm pretty happy with the perspective work, as it's not something I've done a lot of. It should be done late next week, with some chance it lands on the weekend. I have a Hyrule to save, like many of you I'm sure.

WIP - Megumin

The bulk of the actual animation work is done. I still need to extend out the male torso a bit and figure out what I want to do with the legs, probably just put them under some covers. After that I can start on doing the final linework and such. It should all be done ~middle of next week depending on how detailed I want to get with the background.

4/22 Edit: The slight camera movement I tried out for the original seems like it messed with the smoothing, so lines were more jagged kind of randomly. I'm adding a second version without that so it's smoother (and it's comped slightly differently), but I'll leave the original up for anyone that still wants that one.
