Signs of life :)

Hey everyone, I just wanted to pop in and make a propper post just to show I'm alive etc. Those who stuck around for the newsletter will know I've been somewhat productive. Heads up for next month

Probably no updates next month. I will be away from my usual workspace for at least a few weeks next month and will likely be unable to complete much in the way of doodles. I'm mostly in the test and tune phase for upcoming works, I felt the Sarah doodle was pretty hot and deserved to be finished. I was watching a bunch of videos on woodblock printing so I used a different technique, I layered a bunch of solid colors over and over to get the textured look you see below, it was pretty easy/quick and looks pretty good over all.

Simple animation (gif/mp4) + cover image idea

Good news, in January I'll have more time for doodling, bad news, until then I'll be rather limted. I used an interpolation software to create tween frames and then filled in details like faces and changed the frame sequence to create a shutter effect. It's not terrible, but it needs refining, it looks too much like live2d or similar. Next week I will either post some sketches and/or finish up a different simple animation like this one. Leah animation (loop 2/?)

Leah animation (loop 1/?)

Kinda ambitious angle to animate, it's still more jerky than I'd like. But I find it quite "stimulating" regardless. For now I will move on to the next scene but will likely come back and clean up some areas on this, especially if I decide to make this a full set. The EN folder has individual frames if you like the still images.

I will post next once I've finished at least one of these scenes, it should take a week, but it might take longer, I'm probably going to be busy with other things next week. I plan to add more scenes for Leah, I want her to be a "full service girl" so I might try to make this large enough to be a stand alone product. We'll see though.
