I'm still waiting to hear what next to do with the tsf animation, so this week was all spent getting the Sailor Moon animation close to finished.
First thing was I finished sketching the rest of the frames and since it was so long, here's the video version.

I haven't yet been told how to proceed on the Tsf animation, so I put extra work into the Sailor Moon project this week instead. I finished sketching the keyframes and started sketching the animation, so next week I will have finished sketching the animation and then move on to coloring. Soon I'll finally have another animation finished, and then I can start something new.

This week I almost finished converting the rest of the storyboards into keyframes. It was decided to add a bit more animation after the breast expansion part I animated last time, so I made the keyframes for those too.
The few storyboards I still need to clean are there as stand-ins, but I'm going to clean those next and then sketch out the animation for the rest of the frames.

Here's a lot more sketching of frames, enough that I was able to animate the initial start of this transformation. I was following after the dancing Lucy animation for the timing by having a higher ratio of keyframes to inbetweens, and I may have gone even higher than that one did. Next step will be to start sketching for the later parts of this one.

So to start things off I began cleanup on a bunch of the early storyboards as well as the last two storyboards so I can use them as keyframes. Then when I had enough early keyframes I started making the frames I needed to animate the initial changes, which meant a couple more keframes and a few in betweens. I'll have even more frames sketched for next week.

Here's a video with everything I made so far in the Tatsumaki edit. I realised late that in the video the fireblast casts a different shadow onto Tatsumaki so I made sure to go back and change those frames to show it. That will be it for now on Tatsumaki, but it will take less than a month to color the rest of the frames if it gets voted on to continue.

Those hovering frames of Tatsumaki were difficult since the original scene did not follow a pattern at all, but I will be able to reuse them for a clip later in the animation.

So for Tatsumaki this week I lined the first couple portions of the animation and colored about half of them. I really wanted to see how this starting part would look colored since I had to animate three separate growth processes because of the way she moves up and down when she yells. The glow was something I also wanted to see if I can match, and I'll see how well I mimicked it when I get to the frames where she is already glowing.

Now Tatsumaki's finished sketching, though that second to the last bit got kind of weird since the keyframes of the original animation do not line up with how the animators had her moving and shrinking in the frame. So this week I started sketching Tatsumaki's animation, I got about halfway done, the most difficult part was definitely how to animate her growing while she was moving up and down like that, next week will hopefully have the finished sketch animation, which will be either broken up or in video form since this is such a long animation.

For this week I finished sketching out Chie's cow transformation and I will startcoloring it next. That scene did something neat where some in between frames were made by taking the two adjacent frames and layering them on top of each other, so I'll be doing that two to smooth out some of the slower parts.
