FYI - Folder Issues

Hello all.

FYI a number of members have reported issues with new uploaded files being corrupted or similar.

The files themselves are fine but for some unknown reason Mega is not processing them correctly. So what I am doing as a temporary solution is to recreate the 'folder link' each time I add a new file. This resolves the issue.

So , for now, make sure to use the latest links when accessing the folder because I will be changing them each time I upload something new, whic...

This time lapse is from the very begining. You will see me struggle with ideas and then struggle with the design of the boys. But after many redraws I finally got something I really like!

Time-Lapse - Dark Thoughts Bear 2

My basic process in a nut shell:

1. draw

2. change color of drawing to blue and lower transparency.

3. create new layer and redraw,

4. repeat steps 1-3 as many times as you feel is necessary.

When in step three my main objective is to make the individual shapes more interesting; irregular flowing shapes are pleasing to look at imo.

Other things are proportions.

After reading the description for this commission a few times, I start scribbling ideas as they come and begin to form the bigger picture later on.

When starting a comm I will usually make a quick and dirty rough layout. The purpose of this step is to make sure we can agree on the overall look of the illustration and the pose of the characters. All the other steps in the process will be about refining the initial layout.
