Small delay and thoughts on AI clips?

Hey all! Firstly I just want to let you guys know that the Swishy comic editor SwishStream has caught the sick, so the Got ya Girl drop has been delayed, but we are aiming to do a double drop of it and the next Splintered Cells drop together in a few days instead 😊Feel free to wish them a little comment for a speedy recovery! 🧡💜 Speaking of Splintered Cells, I've been tossing up the idea of using AI generation to bolster the comics for a while now, especially after seeing other TG/TF creators experimenting with it like TroubleTRO (who if you don't know has some fantastic FtF shifting comics out there if you haven't checked them out!) The main reason I haven't really tried it yet is essentially for the moral reasons I'm sure you guys have heard a million times over when AI "art" is discussed.In terms of complete "text to picture/video" generation, I have no real interest in that and there's a million people already doing that for shifting and possession content, so I'll stick to my comics. However what I have examples of here is some test of one of the shapeshifting sequences that dropped last week for Splintered Cells 3, trying out the 'frame to frame' type generation.I'm much more comfortable with THIS kind of generation personally because it's based on MY art that I made rather than using someone else's, but it's still a grey area because of the argument of how training data is acquired for this kind of thing. So I want to ask YOU guys... what do you think about this? How do you feel about this sort of content alongside the comics? And I want to be VERY clear with these next points as I'm sure you're wondering: -This is NOT to replace the shifting sequences that are currently in the comics, this is alongside it. The comics will still feature the swishy edited versions you all know and love! -I only aim to possibly include one of these per drop max, could be some shifting like this, could be part of a possession sequence, could be just a nice shot that I like and add some motion to for funzies, could be nothing at all in a drop cos I just wasn't feeling it. -This ISN'T replacing my animation projects either, that is still on the go! The animation project just reached another speed hump that I need time to work out that I just haven't had yet and I'm hoping to look at real soon since the holiday season is now over 😊 My last point would be that the only downside/hurdle I currently have is I can't include these in the PDFs as these are vid clips or gifs, so they might just have to be placed beside the PDF reader on the website (downloadable) that you then select and view separately?... If anyone has a better idea on how to incorporate them, let me know! Let me know what you guys think of all this! Much love, Nexy xx

Taking a break... with a teaser! 😘

Hey all! I haven't taken a break since October last year, so it is time again! What better time than in between comics? Splintered Cells 3 preparation has been shaping up quite well, I've created most of the assets I need for the comic to start production. We've been tinkering with the script in the writer's room too, and I think it's being moulded into quite the finale for Naomi and her story arc 😊 As per my usual quarterly breaks, I'll just be taking a week to recharge my creative batteries so no comic drops this week. However I might have a few things to sprinkle here and there to whet your appetite, starting with the Splintered Cells 3 title card! Later on this week I might share some eye candy for you too that my editor SwishStream has been playing with of late... stay tuned 😋 For now, see you on the other side! Much love, Nexy xx

Apologies for the late drop this week, to be completely transparent I've been started on anti depressants lately after a bad run of mental health issues, and I'm in the phase of testing different types which really throws you around physically and mentally during this process seeing as it's my first time 😅 That's not meant to be a sympathy thing, but more of an explanation for any sporadic-ness you may notice lately or in the near future or why the animation hasn't been worked on much since I last posted, and not having responded to messages of late... just adjusting to these things and some days are much harder than others at the moment. I'll be fine though, getting back on the horse! I've got a good support network here and working through some stuff with my therapist, just a bit of a rough road right now is all 😊 Thank you all for your patience! The Heat Updated - Animation Update!

Heyo! If you don't wanna read about the animation stuff, then the comics are starting back up this week as promised! God DAMN did I hit a lot of road blocks! But this week was SORELY needed, cos I can't imagine how long it woulda taken me to get THROUGH them if I wasn't able to solidly work on it like this, so thank you all for supporting me in pursuing this whole new avenue of work! 😘💜 And I am getting through these roadblocks! One of the MAJOR helpers over this time has been my good friend SpungyJacket who is a Blender Goddess and a WEALTH of knowledge and an amazing shoulder to cry on when things go wrong... Well I just today got over a MAJOR hurdle that I've spent the last few days on, so I'm feeling good with it. It's not ready yet and still has a ways to go, but the bones of it are there. I've recorded the mocap, recorded the voice track, got all the assets of Nexy's bedroom and Nexy herself (pic at the top of the post), applied the mocap and expressions, and adjusted a lot of materials for the new render engine. So what's left is: Adjust the lighting to look good, rig Nexy's hair properly and apply physics, convert the materials for it as well, tweak/refine the mocap sequence, render it all out to video, then edit the video together with some small sound design elements. If I don't hit any other major road blocks, then I think I should hopefully have this to show you at the end of this week is my goal 😊 Thank you ALL again for the love and support , it genuinely means the world that you supported me to try something new like this 💜 The comics will also be continuing as normal this week so you'll see the next drop of Got ya Girl later on this week as well! Trying out something new!

Hey all! I apologise for not posting last week, I got really sick and couldn't work as I was out cold for most of that time 😓 I'm back in the hot seat though, and I'm spending this week trying something new... animations! Here's a little snippet of what I'm working on, a little test sequence with Nexy from my Motion Capture suit 😘 I'll bring the comics back next week as usual, but for now I just want to focus on learning this new animation program and trying to troubleshoot all the various things I need to do to get it working.
