The new hair and hat are finally looking very close to the original, and I feel like one of my long-time goals is almost achieved. This wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing work of K1T0-K1TN, who sculpted and adapted elements from the original game into a form that could be used in my tool. From there, I focused on refining and adjusting everything so it would look faithful and beautiful. Thanks to this collaboration, we’re getting really close to the final version...

Wrestling with Tentacles

Okay, This is the Final WIP (I Swear!) 🤞

So... about that "final" WIP post... I might have slightly underestimated things. Just a little. 😅

This project has gotten a little bigger than I originally planned. Actually, maybe a lot bigger. Turns out, facehuggers have a lot of legs. An unreasonable amount of them, really. My sanity is hanging on by a thread trying to pose every single joint.

✨ Creating the tongue was incredibly challenging, so this set focuses more on highly detailed images than animations. The few animations included are a special bonus, as the original commission didn't require them.

Technically, this is my most advanced work yet, using new graphical techniques to push the visual quality to the limit. Hope you enjoy it!
