I was working on new goth Jodie animation in Blender when I stumbled upon this project and that got me thinking...before I delete the SFM for good and transfer fully to Blender maybe I should finish this piece? Let me know if you want Violet short movie finished or just toss it in the recycle bin and get to some new fun animations.

Max a Chloe shower lesbomancy teser WIP

This is propably the heaviest scene I created so far, my PC don´t like it at all. 10 different streams of fluid simulations set to 256 subdivision and 4 upper factor for mesh generation, three particle systems and dynamic pains on two subdivided character models. It was a really interesting to play with and I believe you´ll like the animation once I finish toying with the scene! :)

What´s next update + WIP

I´ll work on finishing the Short Movie 12 - Normandy Party - Extended Cu(n)t. This new version will be much longer, have added new scenes with Jack, Ashley and EDI and extensions for existing scenes + fixed and updates for the base scenes. It will be propably released in the first half of November, maybe in the second half if there will be some problems with updating the existing scenes etc... Kara animation new WIPs + Blender animations update

So, i was learning a lot of new stuff about rendering from Blender and founf out a way to render much more efficiently, like usually 2-3 times faster than before, still takes insane amount of time but rendering each loop for 1 day is certainly better than rendering it for 3 days. I decided that the main angles of the animation will always be rendered at 1080p at least with 60fps for animations that require smoother movement, because of their speed for example etc... I might grab the lower fps ...

Kara animation variations poll

I am rendering the first version of Kara animation now...and it is gonna take THREE freaking days. Yeah, that is quite a lot and not even on really good setting, it would take double if I´d set it to sample count I would be actually happy with at least.

So the question is, which versions do you want to see rendered most? And are you happy with 720p or is 1080p a neccessity? What about framerate, is 30 fps enough or 60 is a must these days? The resolution and framerate actual...

I´ve been not feeling well for several days so I am not able to work a lot now. All these versions gave me quite a headache, ngl. I wanted to save some rendering time by rendering only some of the versions and creating missing variations by combining rendered versions...well after a while I founf out that won´t be as easy and I found out few pretty annoying mistakes after I uploaded the supposedly finished versions to the host sites, so I had to render the addittional versions anyway and took me an extra three days of work. Blender vs. SFM

I want to focus more from now on on Blender animations than SFM as SFM feels archaic to me. Blender means more short loops than short movies though as rendering from Blender takes like a shitload of time, the Kate animation took three days to render all of the versions so imagine rendering several minutes of footage. But the quality of render is so much higher and it offers so many options that SFM don´t...what do you think about it?Poll
