Small life update, turns out we have to move apartments in literally less than 2 weeks, the one we're in now (despite it being great for us up until we move to Chicago) is trying to say our new roommate needs to pay a security deposit even though we already paid TWO security deposits to be able to live here and it's not like we're moving out. And he lied to us about communications and are trying to lock us into a lease by continuously pushing the time to sign later and later out. It's been a really stressful week but we think we found a new apartment that's not even 5 minutes away, and is a little cheaper as well, which should be good! Huge fingers crossed for us to get approved and get out of here, but the next two weeks are gonna be a huge mess. Thanks for sticking with for a minute while project this month are a bit late :,)

Got a Tumblr Ask FOREVER ago on which character would bend which element, and finally made some art for it!! Here was my response:

"Ratticus would be a Firebender and Dr. Zo would be a Waterbender!

There was debate that Dr. Zo might be an Airbender because of his mindset and ability to think outside the box, but him being a Waterbender with healing hands and his go-with-the-flow attitude felt more appropriate.

There's also the argument that Ratticus could be an Earthbender, because he's stubborn and hard-headed, but having an element that is often feared by its wielder (ex. Jeong Jeong vibes) felt most fitting. Also green doesn't exist in the Theratpy universe, so, erm....,, thank goodness I went with fire loll.

Colors are a little weird for some reason, like cameraman's eyes and the firefly flashes are completely off 🤔 I'll look into why that's happening, because the gifs have been exporting with correct colors since I updated my software but now they're being silly!

A few things are gonna come out more rapidly over the next few days! I couldn't focus on 1 project this past month and kept jumping between 3 or 4, so expect an update to the main story, some drafting of page 4 of Fireflies, some drafting to the overhead handie, and more outlining and coloring of the first half of 'Just an Outing' with Dr. Zo & Clara in the car together! AND an actual MLU this month because I'm finally pulling out of hell months B)

(😊🐀) Merch Promo Draft & Software update!

AS OF TODAY I finally have my animation software again!!!! Will be playing a LOT of catch up due to my lack of being able to animate for the last week and a half.

The newer software is wonderful, they upgraded me to Toon Boom 17 for free because I told them what a hit it has been financially basically taking a forced vacation from animation and missing 8 days of work. I haven't spent 8 days away from animating since high school, I felt like I was having withdrawals, it was crazy lolol. But we're back on it and I'll do my best to catch up on missed work!!

I did a bunch of script writing, sound designing/music making, and got the SFW daki designs done while I had to do alternative work! So hopefully that will make it so I don't have to do anything but animating for a chunk, especially leading up to Megaplex at the end of this month!

(😊🐀+) Monthly Lineup: August 2024

So far this month is a bit of a mess!! My internet was out for three days over the whole weekend, and when our guy got here to check it out, he said that the new neighbors underneath us hired someone who UNPLUGGED ours to put theirs in. Amazing!! We love it!!

And then I've spent the last three days back and forth with Toon Boom about moving my license to my new pc (I got my first ever New pc!! One that should actually be functional and not crash when I'm animating!) and the process was supposed to be incredibly simple, take less than a day, but I haven't been able to access my software for the last three days due to them literally sending me back my own file I sent them (they attached the wrong file.) and then now with the 'correct' file I'm getting error messages instead of it being able to launch. Which means zero animating!

Incredibly frustrating, I'm a workaholic and I'm hating not having posted something new in like a week. I've of course been doing a ton else behind the scenes in its place, got a bunch of the sound design in order for the Carride scene (which is now complete for Devoted+ patrons!) and got the first merch settled and available for preorder, did some script writing, planned the trip to go to Megaplex this year for the first time, and got my new pc Mostly set up which should be a huge benefit for streaming and work efficiency once Toon Boom is in working order again.

I'm PRAYING for the software problem to be solved tomorrow, but it seems like the customer service/support are in a wildly different timezone than I am, which means we are not connecting smoothly or quickly. For now, here is the tentative lineup and I'll keep you guys posted !!

The sheer amount of background work . was abysmal. I am trying very hard though to not have solely character focus, and also have nice scenery instead of primarily barren rooms (I'm looking at you, main story session room) so things take a lil longer but I feel are worth it 😌

More draft work and start of lining and colors !! This one is going slower than I'd like and it's irking me 😒😒 But, it makes sense because it's over 2 minutes of draft work and I was able to do about a page worth of inking and coloring (20 seconds!)

Excited for to ink and color this later in the month, and then get to hear the conversation between Dr. Zo and Annie now that Annie's ON CALL curtesy of a meddling Clara!

We're moving on next to Dakimakuras of Dr. Zo, both SFW and NSFW, so I'm setting this one down for now to make merch art >:)))) !! Distributor said the stickers are taking a bit longer to put up, they just didn't yet have a sticker section and had to do a bit of extra set-up! Will absolutely keep you guys posted when they go up for real!

After a bit of conversation, Zo asks him if he only wants them to touch each other while recording. Cameraman says he doesn't think a little practicing could hurt anything, and asks when the last time Zo got his d*ck sucked was...

Option 1 happens within the first week of Dr. Zo knowing Cameraman. Option 2 happens before Annie moves to the same town as Dr. Zo, as are his previous two shown flings. Option 3 is a little while before Zo gives Cameraman the shower handy.

This happens same night as the Cameraman Mind Wander animation! Of course, Henry is dracula and the cameraman is in his angel costume (sometimes referred to as a bat costume, due to the saying that bats are just rats with wings).

Wrote in the MLU that i'd be working on the next page, but this came out instead ! The first 50-ish seconds I made MONTHS ago and then the rest I did over the last few days, soooo you can see stylistic changes partway through ^^'' I don't think I'll add color or anything more really to this one, hope that's coolio. I think I want to do the outro/ending to Mind Wander in a similar style (comic-feel) !

Hi all, there's been so much happening the last couple of weeks!! I'm pretty behind this month lol but I'm rolling with it and hoping to catch up so that only 1-2 projects roll into next month! Thanks for patience with me :,) None of this is a Necessary read, but if you like to keep up to date with me myself, here you go!

Personal life Happenings!

There's a bunch of stuff going on, most of it neutral to,, uhhhh unfortunate/tough. Most immediate stuff is that we're trying to sell my car because I really don't think I need it and the insurance and upkeep feels really unnecessary to be paying, which I think will be a good thing. However, my grandma wants me to go back to college and try to finish my A.A. before we move states, which feels like an impossible task time-wise, and considering I won't have a car I'd have to confirm I can take every single class online and also check all of my previous credits from Dual Enrollment and classes that my previous job covered the cost of. So, generally a bit stressful ^^''

We're planning a trip to Chicago this year to check it out because we're moving there with a group of friends in 2026. Florida is becoming more and more unlivable for trans people, and many of the bills that were passed earlier this month are problematic at best, devastating at worst. And that's not even mentioning the ones they were Trying to pass but couldn't get to go through. And any of the ones rejected could always be passed in a later attempt, which is terrifying. So, we're moving out of here as soon as we can afford to! And, even though I am carrying lots of sadness knowing the people I'll be leaving, overall this is a good choice in the long run for myself, my partner, and my life.

I almost certainly have depression (oops! yikes!) and also ADHD (less worrying because I have a lot of tools to help that) so I'm trying to see if I can afford a formal diagnosis and medication in order because it's affecting most aspects of my life ! Though I will say, my sleep schedule (although at odd hours) has been pretty good with the amount of time I've been sleeping which is a big win!

I'm seeing if I can swing going to Megaplex (a furry convention in Orlando!) which is August 30th-September 1st, because the Publishing Company I'm going through will have a booth there and I want to be able to visit, as well as attend my first ever fur con!! If anyone else is planning on attending that knows me I'd love to say hi and I'll definitely keep updated about it. I'm really really hopeful we can make it happen but trying not to bank on it because then I'll feel incredibly disappointed.

Also trying to be able to afford top surgery for Benjamin! It's gonna cost about 10k, not counting hotel stays and lack of pay from time spent away from work. I think we'll be able to swing it before the move to Chicago, but that's if no emergencies happen. So hopefully, fingers crossed, no emergencies happen (more than,,, Ben's eyeball haha.)

Separately about affording things, thank you to everyone who has helped me with advice, finances, and sharing about my tax situation!! If you're new about it, Patreon does not take and set a percentage aside for tax season, and I thought they did, and then when I went to do my taxes the estimated amount I was meant to pay was about $4500. With all of your help with deductions and advice on what to do and the help of a tax attorney, the total I owe has been reduced to $965 !! I'm now on a payment plan and should have it paid off fully in the next three or four months. SO, fortunately, that is going much better! :,))

Last thing, soooo Windows 10 is obsoleting out of existence next year and that means my computer won't work next year! Hahaaa awesommme so I'm also figuring out a new pc that can run what I need it to, and soon starting payments on that I guess too! Because my pc does not support the update to Windows 11! We love it here !! We love it!!!

That's everything I can think of, but I have a feeling still that I'm missing things so . Mayhaps I shall add more to this in the next few weeks! I will mention that, I'm also experiencing incredible heartbreak. Benjamin' and my relationship together is going great, and the move and future planning has been a huge positive impact on our closeness! However- as I am polyamorous- my second partner and I are no longer going to be together for the next year and a half before Ben and I move, as they will not be moving with us. So, through everything I do right now, basically from the moment I wake up to the time I go to sleep, my chest is tight and my heart is squeezed with grief. I miss them even though they are still here, and I am deeply saddened that our wants and directions in life don't align. So, yeah, processing through that. And, figuring out how to/remembering how to live without thinking of them in relation to everything I do is a huge change, and not one I was wanting to make so soon. But, with luck, this is better in the long-run for both of us, and I feel lucky I'll always have many many memories that I'll hold very tightly and close to my heart. Okay, now that's everything I can think of.

As you all know, the $1 tier has been locked, and replaced with a $3 tier! Those of you who are able to be on the $1 tier are allowed to stay as long as you'd like, it is the same as the $3 tier, and you get to access the same content for less mons because of your early support in my career on here :)) ENORMOUS thank you to every single patron, this site is quite actually about 99% of my income (other income is small amounts from TikTok and Twitch, between $25 and $50 a month from both combined) so I do my very best to take care of it and take care of you guys in every way I know how!

Via Tumblr and TikTok, the second session has come out to be able to view in full with audio and music! Extremely proud of being able to make an 8 minute animation, and so so pleased with my audio team (my musician and sound designer). Next will be a car ride with Ratticus and his mom, as those of you on paying tiers have been able to start watching through! I have not posted the full of Session II publicly to YouTube yet, I'm uhhhhh thinking of like . cleaning out my YouTube? And just having full sessions/segments up? I dunno, my YouTube doesn't make me happy and I never post on it!

All this stuff has been the past month, so it's like oh my GOD when are the Things going to end . it's tooooo much to think about! So, doing my best to think about it all sort of, one at a time, and not get overwhelmed, and still bring a fun-loving presence to the function !
