The Boss (with 4k alt angles)

I was clinging on for dear life. My mind was quivering, and I think I was on the verge of losing it. The absolute enormity of the situation, the reality breaking realisation that this was actually happening, and the total unpreparedness of the human brain to comprehend it. I knew I was small. I was tiny, minuscule even. I had shrunk, or been shrunk, and now the size of a flea I was desperately trying not to lose my grip and fall deep into my boss’s cleavage.

My hold was fairly secure...

Shadow Over Manhattan (alt angles)

Alternative views of Shadow Over Manhattan. I was a little restricted with the angles because of there being so little of the rest of the city or environment in this model. However, I know you all love a pov so there’s plenty of that.

I’ve accidentally posted this a day early but I’ll leave it up!

The story is uploaded as a pdf. because of spiceyness!

Accidentally posted a day earlier than planned but no worries, I'll leave it up.

Gulf Fleet (alt angles)

A bit of a technical overview for some of the things I was trying to achieve in the main image. I didn’t include any of the effects in the renders for the alt angles as they were taking so long!

I haven’t done a multisize piece for a very long time it seems, and although there isn’t much in the way of interaction between the models it seemed like one of those situations where multisize would add something extra to the scene. One of the reasons I used to do it more when I was drawi...

Final Boss (2k Widescreen)

This week we’re going on a fantasy adventure. I’d love to do more orcs/goblins and fantasy stories, and I have had something in mind for giant goblin girls for years that I want to make happen one day. It’s not exactly monster girls but something a bit more out there than vanilla, and in a world where magic most definitely exists. If you can appreciate the green and hairy brute then this one will be for you! Forgive the writing on this, it’s a bit basic, a bit of a send up of the ...

Beach Vacation (2k alt angles)

The alt angles are really good this week I think, there’s so much going on in this image that there are loads of fun angles to explore. Mega boss members also get access to 4 extra alt angles in 4k, including the shot from the phone!

Beach Vacation

I’m going to start by saying that I threw a lot of things I’ve learned, and new add ons and assets into this image; from building the beach from scratch, to the new crowd generator, sculpting, to adjusting the materials of the models as they are imported into Blender from Daz… there’s a lot of work in here, and I think that it’s about the peak of what I can do now. Granted I’ve learnt a couple of extra tricks in the compositor and photoshop since, but they wouldn’t have made...

Gulliver Retold - Chapter 4: Lilliputian Leisure (part 1) (4k)

Welcome to Chapter 4 of Gulliver retold. I’ve once again had to split this chapter into two parts as it's going longer than my standard 40 pages. Part 1 here has 37 pages. I can't give an eta on part 2 but I'm already 10 pages in. I'm not posting a pdf now as it will only need to be changed out later when the parts are combined, so I will post it when part 2 of this chapter is out.

After meeting the Emperor and Empress of Lilliput, Maria has the afternoon to herself before any food wi...

In The Clouds (2k alt angles)

There’s not that many alternative angles this week as the scene takes so long to render and the clouds are really what makes it so I didn’t want to do away with them. I thought I’d make sure we got some shots from below though ;) There are also different poses and hair options that I tried.

In The Clouds (4k alt angles)

I got carried away with how gorgeous the clouds and the model looked in the alternative angles for In The Clouds, so I’m sharing the 4k renders with you here on Mega Boss tier, along with a 4k versions of the WIPs. Thank you so much for your support, being part of this tier really makes a huge difference to me and I try to give you some extra bits whenever I can.

In The Clouds

*This was a pretty difficult image to write a story for as there’s so few elements to form a narrative around. Despite the apparent simplicity of the image it took an eternity to render because of the clouds, which I think turned out really well. I’ve also attached the original WIP that took 90 hours over Christmas to render in 4k. I wasn’t going to be around so I could let it run and see what it could do. Needless to say I didn’t put the settings that high again! I realised that ...

The View From The Top

Lennie leaned over towards Marshall. “Yo, so my wife says she thinks we should get out of the office, out of downtown. She’s sent me a message. She thinks there’s something going on.”

“Going on? Didn’t you just get back from vacation? Need a little more time off?”

“I’m serious man, I think there’s some kind of incident.”

The hum of a busy office on a Tuesday morning started to rise as the ping of messages hitting phones began to crescendo. More voices r...

Alternative version of Target Aquired

This week’s post didn’t have any alt angles as they didn’t really work, so I’m releasing it with the alternative concept art for Target Acquired that I’d previously talked about. In this version I’ve got different lighting and a slightly different angle, and I hadn’t yet come up with the idea of using multiple helicopters to surround the couple. The biggest difference for me is the change in scale of the models. Here the couple are rendered at true scale (the models are scaled u...

More Gulliver WIPs (new chapter coming I swear)

Here we go! A load more WIPs from the new chapter of Gulliver Retold. Maria Gulliver has had her audience with the Emperor of Lilliput and entertains herself by taking a few of the palace workers for an afternoon off while the royal kitchens get to work preparing a welcome feast. Most of these images are renders that didn't pass quality control for sometimes very minor reasons. Funny lighting reflections, a bit of poke through on the clothing, some textures that I wasn't happy with or a pose ...

Gulliver WIP (it's coming) and Happy New Year!

Hello and a late Happy New Year! I hope you've all had a good start to 2025. I know I have been very slow with the next chapter of Gulliver Retold but I can at last tell you that it's almost here! I have been working away really hard on it and have been remembering to save WIPs, drafts, mistakes, and renders that for whatever reason aren't going to make the final cut. I thought this would be an excellent opportunity to share something for all the hundreds of free members we have here! I norma...

World's End

Paul and Emma stepped out of their car and walked in silence to the barrier at the side of the bridge. Tears welled up in Paul’s eyes. Emma took his hand and squeezed it firmly. Paul’s eyes were focused on the far distance, at the figure almost lost in the haze. She was probably fifty miles away but in a few leisurely strides she could be on top of them. Emma looked around at paraphernalia that was familiar but monstrously distorted by scale. A lipstick had crushed the freeway intersectio...

World's End Behind the Scenes

The World’s End shot had to be set up in very specific ways so there wasn’t really an opportunity for alternative angles so I thought I would go for a behind the scenes approach instead. All the objects were placed so as to dominate the landscape but still reveal the view. There is a good amount of false perspective here to try and reduce the render time. If everything was true scale the amount of volume in the haze of distance would have been vast, and I would have less control over the ...

Desert Chase (2k alt angles)

There is something really cinematic about this scene, and I was thinking of films like Tremors when I was putting it together. In some ways a tight camera view would have worked amazingly as the main image but the wide view showing all of the action and telling the story from the point of view of the arriving patrol cars and seeing more of the landscape was more satisfying in the end. There’s a few glitches in these alt angles that don’t look as bad in the main image but overall I’m ver...

In the image there are police, in the story they’re sheriffs. I don’t have the clothes and the cars to make it make sense right now. You’ll have to imagine or mentally bleep over it. Sorry!

“Shitshitshitshit.”

“Ronnie get back in the damn car.”

“Shitshitshitshitsh..”

“Ronnie, now!”

Deputy Veronica Sanchez’s eyes were the size of saucers. This could not be happening. In front of her was the Brickson Gas Station, about five miles ...

The story isn't graphic at all but Patreon's ai has flagged it as too risqué for here so I'm attaching it as a pdf.

Vegas Strip Tease (alt angles)

Plenty of alt angles, close ups and POVs for you. As you can see, the city model doesn't look great close up but it works well for the main shot where I use depth of field to blur the foreground, and things look ok when they're far enough away. It doesn't work as well in many of these but in a few of them where the buildings and details are lost a bit the haze of the background it looks fantastic.

Vegas Strip Tease WIP

This was almost the finished piece and then I noticed that she has no lipstick to go with her makeup. Because of this I decided to go back and change it (which means going back to daz, changing things, and re-exporting the file to Blender. Once in Blender I need to re-do all the set up things like making her hair work (if you know you already know, if you don't it's a faff). The hair turned out thicker because I didn't adjust the settings the same way, but I actually prefer it, and I changed ...

Marta part 3 (alt angles)

Here we’ve got some flyby shots of Marta, including one from inside the chopper! I’ve got these marked as sketches because there isn’t really any background at all as the main image doesn’t call for it. Having said that, in the main image her head isn’t visible at all, so you couldn’t see the enjoyment in her face. Now you can! I still don't love her hair up close but I can't find a good replacement so sticking with it for now.
