The Out-of-Placers #48

Elim has a rapidly-growing number of yinglets who appreciate him.

Hey, sorry about the wait! Spent a couple weeks in South Carolina, and then got a massive sinus infection from all the South Carolina in my sinuses. But all's well now, so back to work!

Also,it's come to my attention that Patreon is downsizing the page sizes and giving it some jpeg artifacting, so I'm going to start attaching both the normal sized and huge versions of each page under each Patreon post...

April sketch #1

Two of the highest-voted entries caught my attention, and I had to do more than one:

Lopin finds an artifact that makes him human, & Kass has to be physically restrained from trying to strangle him.

And

Two yinglets tossing their best insults at each other like Secret of Monkey Island.

Annual trip April sketch vote #1

Heya! I'm out of state, spending a week with a bunch of friends and geeking out, as we try to do once a year, but I should at least be able to get a sketch vote done in between activities, so let's get voting!

As usual, leave your vote idea as a comment, and "like" any existing ideas to vote for it.

March sketch vote #2: Braiding issues

It's less "hair" and more "wiry head bristles!"

March pic vote

Vizlet's demeanor, appearance and even speech pattern are quite similar to Edna Mode from 'The Incredibles', I would love to see Vizlet scolding someone while dressed as Edna.

March sketch vote #2

All right, let's squeeze in the 2nd sketch vote while I draw up the full pic vote!

Same deal as usual; post your idea, and/or "like" existing ideas to upvote them.

Some of the recent generations of yinglets have mouths full of teeth that can do that "chewing" thing though, and it is all the rage for any Matriarch to propagate into their enclaves' genetic footprints.

March Sketch #1: Isher's Attention Attempt

"Isher doing literally anything to get kass to notice her (he doesn't)."

Okay, so at SOME point I'll actually draw a bi-monthly sketch that I can resist turning into a fully inked, colored, shaded piece with text. Probably.

I couldn't stop at the sketch stage on this one, though.

Attached is a version of the upper panel without the text bubbles.

Ran likes to watch the rats fight.

And though yinglets themselves know they're lower in the social order of the world, being a female is regarded as being nobility, thus Lopin's misunderstanding of Kass' feelings on the matter.

Also, starting on this page, I'll be including HD versions of the pages on release, with the text bubbles turned off.

March sketch vote #1

All right, let's get going on the next sketch vote!

Anyone can post what they'd like to see as a sketch (involving up to 2 characters). To vote, click the "like" option for whoever's idea you want to vote for.

Be sure to read through the existing options before posting a new one, in case someone's already posted it!

And to make the vote options easier for me to parse through, please hold off on regular chatting (unless it's as a reply to a vote idea, feel free to comment...

Sailorpin

Results from the first sketch vote say that people want to see Lopin in a new outfit! Well he's already got a sort of Little Sailor theme going on, so why not try on another "sailor" type variation?

Notice him, sempai~

This was just going to be a sketch, but hey, why not start this voting thing off with a fully inked/colored/shaded one instead? Also, as the first Patreon-only content I've created, I'm gonna leave this one viewable to everyone, so that even non-Patreons can get...

First sketch vote

All right, let's see how this goes!

You should be getting this if you're in the $3 or $7 tiers. The way we'll do this is that anyone can post what they'd like to see as a sketch (involving up to 2 characters). To vote, click the "like" option for whoever's idea you want to vote for.

Be sure to read through the existing options before posting a new one, in case someone's already posted it!

Well that was fast

Damn! I was expecting it to be a few weeks at least before hitting the $180 mark; thought I'd have plenty of time to figure out what the next goal should be!

Thank you all so much for jumping on this thing; it means a lot to me to see how many of there you are that feel the stuff I do is worth supporting! Super motivating, man.

...On that note, I better start crunching out the next OOPs page so one gets published before the end of the month, shouldn't I?

Launchin'

All right, let's see how this goes! I'll be starting by offering 3 fairly low-priced tiers at first, so that I can judge how well they're recieved, and how much time I spend on the rewards.

If all goes well I might open up higher tiers, but I want to make sure I can deliver on all the rewards first!
