Step-by-step: Latest artwork (90s Imogen)
I actually struggled so much on the main piece of this one (Imogen on the left). I redid the lineart at least 6 times before getting to a place i liked.
I did have a lot of fun with the coloring tho, I experimented with more realistic shading and I really enjoy how it turned out, specifically the skin. I also like how the « Girls » sweater’s shading and texture looks in the final piece :)
That’s all on this one. All props to Cole again for the amazing concept!

Bonus content: update!
Helloooo,
Just a quick post to let y’all know i don’t think I can get this bonus content done in time before the end of the day. The WIP in the picture is part 1 of 2 (part 1 is SFW/will be public and part 2 will be slightly NSFW/patrons only). But! I’m simply adding it to the June roster of content instead :)

Step-by-step: Latest Artwork
this small little comic was genuinely so nice to work on, i could take it easy and use it as a way to re-train my wrist to be more active after 2 weeks in a brace. The perfect exercise! :)
I also used more "preppy" colors than I usually do, and didn't blend any of the shading colors (or just very very little) just to try things out! And I think I really like that way of coloring :)

i'm currently on "sick leave" from work due to a bad case of carpal tunnel, which is causing pain when i hold objects, draw or write; as well as insomnia. My wrist and half my forearm are in a brace. My thumb has no strength most of the time, and pain shoots up from 3 of my fingers up to my bicep. It has also reduced my wrist mobility a lot, which is extremely scary for me.

OKAY SO, in true me fashion, I had 24 hours left to draw, line, maybe color something for the NSFW reward today and of course my dumb ass drew another whole ass comic instead of a single illustration :)

This one was so much fun to draw and color! Like i said when i posted it, i tried an easy and simple way to shade it with the lasso tool and lowered opacity color, with soooome blending but not too much) and i loved how cute the results looked. Definitely enjoyable to do :)
And please don't judge my sketch for it, I was IN A HURRY LMAO
