Real Life Muscle Growth update

Some posing practice last night. I’m 16 days out from my first bodybuilding competition. Sitting at 217 lbs this morning (48 lbs down from my bulk Weight of 265lbs and 78lbs down from my heaviest in 2020)

Comic will be wrapping up this weekend! I appreciate All your patience as I’ve been trying to balance prepping and comic production. I’m very thankful for all your support!

Finishing Up Renders

Rather than releasing a page at a time, I have been rendering all the images needed to complete our comic and will be assembling them here this weekend with a final post coming this week to wrap it up.

Moving forward in the month of May, we will be finishing up the current comic with Zac at the construction site, as well as be moving into the next storyline (which I am already PreVis-ing - see above)

Back in business!

Figured out the rendering issue that was causing the crash! We’re back on track now!

Update issues - Fatal Error - Corrupt File

I’ve been having some issues with the file that I’m using for our story. I’ve been troubleshooting possible issues. But I may have to rebuild the scene here as it keeps crashing on me when I attempt to render the scene.

I have all the characters saved in their own respective files. So we aren’t losing anything. It will just be a matter of reassembling things in a new - NOT corrupt file.

I’ve been working on tagging works with different designations so all of them can be found under theit own respective tags. These tags are located at the top of the page in the desktop browser. Unfortunately they are unavailable in the mobile app. (Not surprising)

ALSO - Notice (pictured) the “media type - tier - month tabs. It is also easy to set these criteria to see different Posts from the past without having to scroll forever.

A Catch 22

Here's a good way to look at the process of production for GymJunkie Muscle Media:

I've posted along these lines before, but maybe this is more concise. 

For every comic frame you see it takes upwards of 2 hours to render. Add time in there for me to pose and light each scene - so 3 hours.   

For ever second of animation I make it takes 30 FRAMES. 

So for 3 min of animation one is looking at 5400 frames rendered.

Zac wiped the sweat from his brow, and noticed something was - off. His hand felt rough. He held it in front of his face and watched as small palm grew large and meaty, and his long narrow fingers became short and thick - like sausages. These paws did not belong to Zac!

I have been working on the rigging and morph dials for these two characters as well as playing with how I want to SHOW zacs transformation based on rtroses descriptions...

Animation TEST

Last month I ran some animation tests on the Hook and Smee characters I created - I lifted the audio from the film and tried to match the facial animation to the audio. Overall it was a success

House Keeping
