I wanted to have the next WC page done today, but I've had some vehicular weirdness create a bit of a time sink for me. So, in the meantime, here's a fun little bonus piece I did for a friend's birthday. Mango Nectar is a great artist and the comic she's doing with Tess is great fun. The new Mavis revealed! Funny thing is, I'd always intended for this to be a single image of her, but then I started drawing other ideas and they really worked with this image, so there will be some additions to this shortly (I only had time to finish my originally planned image). I'm really more about comics than pinups.

Sorry for the delay - meant to drop this yesterday, but here's page 1 of chapter 5 in progress. Claire's bestie, Bianca doesn't play a major role for some time, but introducing her early provides some other fun opportunities early.
Some colors are already laid down, as I was trying to figure out which skintones would work best with one another (especially if you know what happens in chapter 9).

Shirow's Appleseed was the first manga I was ever exposed to, at around age 13. A friend had an Asian copy (he'd picked it up in Hong Kong, so I don't know if it was in Japanese or translated to Chinese - I couldn't read it in any case). Then Dark Horse started publishing it in the US and I was all in. I'd never experienced anything like it and was hooked.
