So... I debated posting this to the main feed cause it's a little on the weirder scale but then some of the other drawings I did last week wouldn't make sense without it. And when I started sharing this over the discord and streams well... seems like a number of you guys were into the idea of a little "modding." It certainly opens a whole new world to experiment with, that's for sure.

So, among all the news last week, the new Batgirl comic came out. Starring none other than Cassandra Cain and Lady Shiva. It's a VERY STRONG opening chapter, and I wanted more immediately. Even though modern comics are short at about 20 pages, I still came away really satisfied. This felt like old-school Cassandra Cain in the best way. Perfect Blue, Lots of Red

Fan art of Mima from Perfect Blue. That is one of the more haunting and dark psychological thriller films you can ever watch. You can see why a lot of directors copy it.

An observant viewer on Blue Sky pointed out this was similar to the amazingly terrifying King Charles royal portrait. And yeah, I can totally see that. I might've been subtly influenced by that crazy good work.

At the start of the month I thought I might draw characters from the "SCP" style setting and I still might. But doing another challenge of illustrated portraits, one a day, once again, was rather daunting. I needed to work on comics and commissions, so I had to put the kibosh on keeping up with the challenge. That said, I'm quite happy with these character portraits. And seeing them makes me want to elaborate on the setting once more.

Someday, I'm telling this story dangit.
