A quick portrait of Director Fairbanks.

I know when I post things for the SAFE universe, it isn't quite as popular as some of my other projects. It's a bit of a push and pull between how much I want to make the audience happy and indulge in some kinky drawings and how much I would like to develop a new story. Right now, I've got ideas, but ideas aren't a story. I need to take the time to work and make these characters into something.

Cracklin! (patron oc commission)

A pretty neat OC commission! The idea behind the hair was that it would look a bit like kirby crackle. Not the easiest effect to achieve! And to get it really good you gotta do it by hand. I hope it came across okay in this rendition.

The random drawing generator table has been providing some fun ideas for drawings. I don't think this is canon. But let's say if I did put Rosemary (or Ashley or Colette) into the fake SCP-style setting, there would be quite a few of these "accidents" happening from time to time.

Just going through another test at the psu science facility. The position and the gag are for the subject's own safety while the tendrils get used to her presence. In an unusual twist compared to how these tests usually go, the subject requested to undergo the same test again.

Musubi!

I think... I should make some Spam Musubi this weekend.

I learned a little something yesterday that could speed up my coloring quite a bit. Once I get to the black-and-white stage and have everything shaded, the coloring can go pretty quickly, at least if I know to keep things loose.

Just a pic I made in celebration of Cass's 25th birthday. Though that's technically an amalgamation of how Cassandra Cain's canonical birthday is January 26th coupled with the fact that she was introduced to comics about 25 years ago. (now only about 50 more years to go until she's public domain and I can make my Cass Cain dream project!)

I've been kinda drawing abs the same way across a bunch of characters lately. I really like it! But I need some more variety and can't keep drawing girls the same-ish. Abs come in all kinds of beautiful shapes and sizes!

Safety-Lette

I needed something to warm up with so I rolled again on the roll table I made. And the result this time went something like "Colette in the SAFE universe, limited color palette, 1 and a half hours." And man... these came out pretty fun. I'm glad I just kinda went with it and "painted" these. I used a random palette generator to get a palette I thought would suit the setting and this looks really good for a "code red" kind of emergency.

Commission - Leah

A commission for RelicArts! I thought this design was pretty cool, and enjoyed drawing it. I don't know her full story but she's a sort of mob leader with supernatural powers. She's a doctor by day but becomes a different person once the skull paint comes on.
