I've probably mentioned this a few times but drawing Froppy is like a really great excuse to practice drawing weird poses and exaggerated fingers and toes. When they're so exaggerated, it means you can't really hide them. They're a focal point and exciting looking!

One of the fun things I don't do enough with are cyborgs that can mix and match parts a bit. And you can easily get a bit more creative if you're willing to play around with more adventurous upgrades.

I'm not entirely sure why but I wanted to redraw this old Cass in a Bolero hoodie from a while back. I believe it was for a meme! But it's neat to see how much my style has changed. I think, if I may, I was in a bit of a stiff place for a lot of my work in early 2020. It was probably the times... I spent some time trying to add more flow and weight to my pieces. Still working...

So... as you might have seen elsewhere I am a currently a big fan of K-Pop Demon Hunters. I've kinda had the soundtrack stuck on loop and reaction videoes playing on my screen all last week. It's gotten to the point where I wanted to come up with my own OC for the movie.

I kinda pictured this regular human woman who works as a music producer for the demonic Saja boys. She doesn't know they're demons, she frankly can't stand them and is immune to their charms, she's just very good at her...

So... with the release of Death Stranding 2 I am once more hyper fixated on delivering packages across the wasteland. As if this writing though, I'm just on my second playthrough of the first game. I wanted to beat it again before starting the second one. I thought I'd just breeze through the story stuff, but I'm enjoying all the little extra side quests and satisfying the customers.

So I decided to color that peril pic, why not? I'm really quite happy with the skin texture on this one. And the extra pencil lines can double as scratches and texture, too. If you guys ever have any other recent pics of mine you'd like to see colored, just lemme know.

The Head Chef (horror fanart)

I've drawn her before, the Fallind Devil from Chainsaw Man, because I'm in love with the design. It's got this truly dark beauty to it, and the politeness of the character is super engaging. Possibly one of my favorite monsters in manga, and I'm pretty sure it's just cause the author Fujimoto got hyper fixated on chefs. This might not be the last time I draw her.

Maybe Colette is the kinda person that makes non sensical statements that sorta sound nice at the time, and just says it with enough conviction and sincerity that it sounds true. Anyway, it's been a bit and I just wanted to show off some of my improved anatomy sketching. I promise to use this power for good.

Let's call this one of the possible endings of that last scene and enjoy it. This is also the second time I've drawn her riding a dinosaur friend. For the record, it's not any specific kind of dinosaur, but that's mostly so I don't get called out on being inaccurate to any one specific species of dino.

Admittedly, nothing too much inspired this drawing. I just had the pose started and I realized, ya know this kinda looks like a ninja pose. And I thought, hey what ninja would I like to draw and I figured on drawing Kasumi from Dead or Alive. It was a good little experiment too, I like pushing the style a bit further than I usually would for a drawing like this. Good to stretch your legs and show some flexibility, ya know.
