I have been working on this pretty lady for quite a looong time now! But the details had to be just right and ready for printing in high quality :)

To make it more illustrationa-like instead of realistic. And... I've spend so many hours doing all the linework and the coloring... All the details. And then... At some point I realized (after I already blurred the background slightly to try and see what it will look like) I have merged the background files and now the blurred background on one layer is the only version I have.

My final commission before taking time off :) The struggle was real with this one. Endless hours of trying to figue this whole color thing out, playing with photos + manipulation and paiting over them. I really hope the effect looks well enough T3T
I hope to practice more background and speedpainting on my iPad while I'm on maternal leave. Definitely will share my efforts with you guys here (exclusive access to Patrons probably) cause it's embarrassing how long it takes for me to figure...

I had a hard time collecting my thoughts today. My grandma passed away this morning. Not entirely unexpected, she was in the hospital and her condition was dire, so we were all preparing for the worst. I'm still processing it and I think I will take a while.
I was able to distance myself from the negative thoughts with this sketch, so thank you for giving me such a lovely keyword to work with, Denak! Exactly what I needed today.
Felt like drawing something more relaxing. Another Patron sketch! This time the theme was artistic freedom, so I drew what I felt like today. Hope you like :)
