Yes! Tritone subs bby!! One of my all-time absolute fav harmonic concepts. It's rare for me to sit down at an instrument or the laptop and not whip one of these out in its many variations. Back from tour, back to sharing knowledge; I honestly don't think I'll ever run out of II V I variations to talk about, there's just so many ways to move through them, and all you gotta do is change one note and suddenly you've found another. In this episode, I talk about minor ii V's, mixing and matching qualities from major and minor sets, and an interesting phenomenon involving the min7b5 shape that will probably blow your mind £;^)

11th chords are very special. But you know that already. The fact that you can stack all those thirds on top of each other and have them ring so thick and lush and drippy, just DAMN. This chord is really special, and doesn't get enough love these days! This vid breaks down all the different colors you can pull just from the same four note chord voicing, some that really might surprise you. I absolutely love this sound, it is so early 20th century Paris-American Jazz/impressionistic. Have fun with this very intriguing chord £;^)

Brand nu piano concept for yall; basically, stop doin too much and tryin so hard!! Just play one note bby. One note is all you need.
Doesn't mean this will be easy. There's lots to be done with the left hand. In this episode I'm introducing arpeggiated OPEN POSITION TRIADS. Once you get them down they're one of my fav all time go to's for sooooo many stylistic tricks on piano.
