The Kinoko Series

When I discovered Shibari 20 years ago through Daido Moriyama’s photography work it wasn’t as popular as today. Yet in 2017 I discovered the work of Hajime Kinoko, a rope artist based in Japan and was absolutely mind blown by his work. So modern, innovative and poetic. I was lucky enough to be tied for the first time by him in London. He also beautifully photographed the memory. Shot in 2018 at Anatomie Studio.
