Story: "Edge of the Universe"

This has to be one of my most favorite stories I've written this year. It even comes with artwork by the amazing, talented Boneitis.

Set in the far, far future, a robotic space probe continues to scout as much of the universe as it can, despite not knowing if humanity still exists.

Excerpt of "Maverick Hotel" (upcoming series)

Between my book's sequel and other projects, I've been working on a new story series for Patreon. Once I'm done writing Somewhere in the White Void, I'll be posting this four-part series.

Set in an alternate world where the U.S. has become an ultra-religious empire, Adam Grimwald is a tabby cat rescued from a 'conversion clinic' by a group of resistance fighters. Recruiting him to their cause, Adam joins their ranks and forges friendship while trying to piece together his past. &n...

"Justice for All"

Here's Part III of my post-apocalyptic ice age story series.

Map of "Somewhere in the White Void"

This is a map of the last glacial period, which would be similar to the futuristic setting of my six-part story series. I thought this would be cool to share! :)

For those wondering, the reason for Indonesia, Europe, North and South America having more landmass is due to basic science: Because of the northern glaciers retaining more of Earth's water, there wouldn't be enough precipitation due to it all being frozen solid. Have this process continue for a few thousand years, and suddenly...

"Somewhere in the White Void Part II": a 1,000-word story

That's right: I'm making more stories focusing on this world set in a post-apocalyptic ice age. Now, I've decided to make this into a six-part series, each installment focusing on a different character in a different region.

If you want to see more or want to express your thoughts on this, please leave a comment below. Stay warm, and enjoy! :)

These are journal entries written during the course of my novel,The Adventures of Peter Gray. You'll be the first to know my character James Lawton's thoughts regarding events through the book, all from a human perspective in a fantasy world of Furren. Amazing news!

I have some amazing news for my patrons: I submitted a short story to Thurston Howl Publication's upcoming "Even Furries Hate Nazis" anthology, and it got ACCEPTED! Yah, I was relaxing during my break at work yesterday, tired and all, when I check my emails to find a new one in my inbox. Minutes later and it felt like I'd been drinking a gallon of coffee, and now I could get through my shift again!

Without giving away too many details, my story is about a gay couple who learn a Neo-Nazi...

Schedule of posts

For the sake of consistency, I've finally decided to make a schedule for when I'll be posting stories on here.

From now on, short stories for Tier II patrons will be posted on the first and third Tuesday of every month (unless the story is set for a holiday theme) while 1,000-word stories will be posted in-between. Meanwhile, any Tier III stories or series installments posted will be set in the same structure as Tier II, though this may change in the future.

I hope thi...

Interview with Peter Gray, from “The Adventures of Peter Gray”

This is a writing exercise I started a while back, where I interview my original characters to get to know them much better. For this, listen to me & Peter Gray discuss his life as a street urchin in 1890's New York City, from my historical fantasy novel, "The Adventures of Peter Gray"!

"Somewhere in the White Void Part I": a 1,000 word story

After we all endured this years big polar vortex, I thought it'd fit to write a story that reminds us how much it could be worse. Grab your coat and wrap yourselves in a blanket for this one, dear readers.

"Last Glimpse of Earth": a 1,000 word story

My second 1,000 word story is set in the far, far future. All I can ask is, "What would it be like for humans living billions of years in the future?"

"Ember's Last Stand": a 1,000 word story

This is a new Patreon benefit I'm experimenting with, where once in a while a I'll post a story that is less than or equal to 1,000 words. This can range between different genres and tones, but I decided to do this for my Tier I and Tier II patrons who might be interested in reading more of my works.

This week's story is "Ember's Last Stand", a short story I wrote years ago I decided to remaster and update. It's a short dystopian vignette I wrote for a high school class I know you...

Progress this week

Hello everyone. The past week has been exciting, having my new Patreon page. I want to thank my first patron for pledging, and hope more will give their support.

I recently finished editing a project for an anthology, and now I'm working on another anthology submission I hope to have completed by next week. I won't say which one is for which until later, but I will say one of them involves hacktivism and an LGBT couple I've grown to enjoy writing. After I'm done with them both, I ...

Welcome patrons!

Thank you for giving your pledge in support of my work, and I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I did writing them.

Keep an eye out for updates & stories! If you've read my novel "The Adventures of Peter Gray", watch out for featured stories, bonus chapters and perhaps even chapters to the sequel I may or may not be writing.

Enjoy! :)
