Another Check In

Just letting you guys know I'm hard at work, still tinkering with stuff behind the scenes, and if you have any bug reports... Let me know. This month I'll do something kind of different. So on the 20th-ish, I'll be releasing an early test release so you guys can tinker with it, and let me know if I missed anything. If you don't want to play that slightly buggy mess... I suggest skipping it. Just a heads up.

Also, I've commissioned some things that hopefully will be done by that time so...

Checking In

This month I'll be hard at work tinkering with timing and fixing old scenes so it accounts for variables. Hopefully that will make the game much more replay-able while having the added benefit of being more immersive.

Basically, I'm just re-writing things, fixing bugs, and doing a deep playthrough of the game. This isn't exactly hard to do, but MAN is it tedious. In the future, I'll be writing alternate dom routes using this simple variable check as well, but don't expect that this up...

Regarding 0.6.4

You guys voted on me doing one big patch update, and that's what I'll be doing next month. Just going through and tweaking things that need tweaked, changing sentences that make no sense, swapping out legacy code, cleaning up entire sections, etc.

This next update will also include a revised random system for some stuff (going out, walking in the park, gym, etc.), I have a fair bit of content written for that, I just needed a better system to pipe that content to you.

Story: Some more scenes to psychology (this means more Alex content that you've been craving), as well as a few scenes to the randomized roommate system/chore section. These are unlocked as you go along and meet certain criteria, but it should feel SOMEWHAT random.

Art: Added some new piercing stuff, gold and silver variations, found at the hair salon.

Code: Behind the scenes minor stuff, trying to tweak my randomization system to actually be random is a real chore... But I thin...

Possible Overhaul

Alright, so after that last overhaul, the one that made the game slightly less linear, I've been finding more and more inconsistencies that I plan to patch as I go along. The question is, should I dedicate an update to finding these and patching them, or should I just patch them as I go along with the regularly scheduled content?

Short Term Plans

This post is to just tell you what I plan to do next month. I'll be adding one classrooms worth of content, and working on "gwens" story-line/gameplay stuff. I've been neglecting it too long and I'm honestly just really tired of looking at her placeholders so. Story: Some new scenes with every route for Bailey, some new scenes for every applicable character in the Fem-Lit class.

Art: Nothing much has changed, I have the schoolgirl outfits commissioned, but they aren't implemented yet (they won't be until phase 1 of the school is done) artist never came through on the whole piercing stuff, so I guess I'll commission someone else.

School-Girl Outfit

This is just the greyscale version, I'll be coloring this later to add those variants. The outfit isn't ready to go in the game until "phase 1" of the university is fully finished. I have this whole thing planned for it but uh, until then, here it is. Gaze upon it's glory and all that.

New Color Scheme.

So I'm working on making the UI a bit sleeker and less bulkier, and someone recommended I do a color scheme something like this, but the actual colors are still up in the air. Do you like it? Hate it? Want to see a different color or idea? Let me know in the comments below.

Drawn or Photos?

So, I've been thinking about removing the grid in the left sidebar, and replacing all the images in the wardrobe with their drawn counter-parts. What do you think? Yay or nay?

Wardrobe Upgrades

I've been tweaking the wardrobe from time to time, as I'm still not happy with it, and this is what I've come up with. I'd LOVE some input, as I'm not some fancy graphic designer. So if you have any ideas, let me know.

Media Free?

Some people have mentioned that the game is growing in size and believe me with my garbage net, I've noticed. And one of the ideas I came up with was to replace the videos in the game.

Story: I've added some new scenes for the Physical Education stuff, meaning a few scenes with all the schoolgirls and a few with Domino specifically.

Character Poll

Alright, so I'm doing a "smallish" overhaul, at least compared to the last one, and don't have time to do my usual two routes + two classes. Instead I'll be doing one full route, and one overhaul of a specific class (the poll has decided that class will be Physical Education). So the question is, who do you want to see more of next update?

Classroom Poll

Alright, so the theology stuff works well, and the way it works is based on randomization and variables and all sorts of complicated stuff. But basically, the end result is that you randomly go through all the scenes with the characters, before you're able to progress the main theology story-line. I'm going to be revamping and updating all the other classes to work in pretty much the same way. The question I have for you guys is, what class do you want to see done first?

Sissy Slut/Chains of Power delay

The overhaul was... Large, and it really took a lot out of me grinding for this and that and getting all the code to work and whatnot. So I'm just going to take it easy for the next few days. I've had a few people request support for those kinds of things and after being shown a great library... Well, I've integrated some rough support into the game. It honestly didn't take too long and it's nowhere near perfect but. If you happen to have one of those fancy bluetooth devices, and you're able to use chrome (sorry iphone/ipad users, it probably won't work well), then you'll be able to pair your device up with my game.
