Just want to remind you all that the update is coming to the patron edition tomorrow. I'm not sure exactly what time, but hopefully in the morning. Things are going pretty smoothly, but there's not a lot I want to post right now since it's mostly story and request content so far. No real mechanics to show off. Devlogs take a pretty decent amount of time to put together and I don't get a lot of engagement out of them, so I don't think anyone really reads them. I don't really have any issue continuing them, but I want to see what y'all think. Realistically, the amount of time I spend on them will not go directly into the game; it's not zero sum. I've removed the $200 goal for hiring an artist. There are a few reasons, the biggest is that I think that dollar amount and the wording of the goal were both a bit problematic. I initially intended, and tried to word it to suggest, that at $200 I would start seeking an artist to join the project, but by the time I successfully secured an artist and work on new art actually began, who knows how long that could take. I had to cut some incidental content like additional events and such, and I had to leave one half-finished request for later, and end the story content about one task earlier than I expected to, but we got there. It may sound like I cut a lot, but this update is still around 25,000 words.
