Loammi abruptly sits as she's brought back to consciousness with a shock. Wearing a helmet still, she feels around and suddenly realizes things aren't right. The helmet is part of an apparatus, and she's confused why her clothes have been replaced with a type of medical gown.

Looking around she finds herself in a very alien environment. Almost as if part of a medical experiment, except abandoned. 

Abandoned rather hastily by the looks ...

Final Dragon character sketch 01

I haven't posted much about Accursed Dragon: The Final Dragon only because there's been a fierce debate in my head over what the best way to begin the story was. My final decision is we're going to begin with Rawn's brother, Romyn.

I was tempted to kick things off with a flashback, but that's been done already! Instead we're going to initially follow a guy who is absolutely new to everything and you'll what Romyn learns.

Luger reads off the symbols on a worn piece of paper he's been carrying that apparently grants him access to a very restricted line of communication that reads "STOCK". The individual on the other end acknowledges the Canter and confirmation of Rak's capture has been made.

He's pretty pleased with himself and promises Loammi she can have some of the reward when she wakes up.

The words "wake up" echo in Loammi's mind...

Utterly defeated, Rak is now in Luger's care.
Asking his captor why he's bringing Loammi's unconscious form along, Luger replies "A deal is a deal" and buckles her in for their long ride.

Rak tries to reason with Luger saying he's sorry for stealing the ship (not that he could return it since being refitted by Bootlox), but has more than enough sovs to pay off whatever Mut'la's bounty is.

Luger responds by asking "What makes you think it was Mut'la?"

He realizes it was his homew...

The Timbo shell....ain't doing so well.
This is pretty much the end of Timbo as Rak knows him and the mechanical boy's space friend is taking it as is expected.

Rak's not confident he can be a good guy without his pal's moral compass by his side, but Timbo knows he can. 

Before the shell shuts down, Timbo departs one last piece of information: where to find his real self.

People were thinking Timbo could deconstruct and combine with the metal surrounding him, but how do you physically connect with a chunk of solid garbage?

Unfortunately this does not bode well for Timbo as we know him.  :(

Luger's a little upset that he's going to miss out on that sweet robot reward money now, but not nearly as upset as Rak is.

Without thinking, Rak leaps to turn off the contraption, burrows through the debris and discovers Timbo just in time before his torso is completely crumpled.

It...might be a little too late for him though...
