For the first time we get to hear what Lyre has to say. He wants to make a good first impression with his new captain and thus tries to overcome his shyness. Plus Lyre wants to make a good impression on his new boyfriend, so I guess Gavol is a source of encouragement for coming out of his shell.

Zeiss has shown up in just one page, and is referenced here and there, but this is the stronghold in which he or she resides in. Rak discovers the rag tag team of misfits he's assembled isn't exactly the best mix suitable for the job of infiltrating and helping rescue Timbo...

The previous page had mentioned people known as Castmasters making secret passage entrances hidden in plain sight. Well turns out those two statues are no exception.

Secret passages are tricky, but are even harder when masked by some powerful magic. Seems the window LOOKS and FUNCTIONS like a window should, but one turn reveals a gateway to somewhere entirely different.
Plus the purpose of the statues are about to be revealed once it gets dark.

As it is, Accursed Dragon cannot update with colored comics unless we receive enough money to help properly compensate the artists. Once it becomes worth their while dedicating their free time to coloring (ie. paying them a fair wage) we'll be able to update on a regular schedule again.
