Did this up a bit before I'll be away from work a little. Decided to do a sheet on Pepper. A lot of it is still a little vague, but at least some things are down in my mind about her.

Comic Rewards 05-05-2021

There was a moment when I entertained being able to finish this comic last month, but naw. This is going to exceed 30 pages when it's finished, easy. I'd say I'll definitely finish it this month, but I can't say for sure. I'm going to be out of the loop for about a week, while getting married, so I'm not sure what production is going to look like exactly. I'll keep you all informed!

Enola Sketch

This is Brooke's mother. I decided to sketch her before starting the third Brooke Goes To College chapter.

I don't have any plans to make this character sexual, but I know it won't stop some people's imaginations.

Pepper Doesn't Care

This started out as something that was just going to be a quick nothing of a sketch. The leaning into the fridge thing is something of a meme in sexy illustration these days. I decided to tack on more characters and make a little something else of it when I was done. Then I found time today to color it up for fun. There are balance issues, I know.

Sophia

After Sunday chores, I had time to draw Pepper and Javier's mother, as well. She's supposed to be a short woman, so I had to break all my instincts to elongate her body.

Pepper

Amazingly found some time to scratch out a picture of Pepper, with the intent of getting her colors down a bit.

She's a friend of Brooke that didn't go to college. She'll be appearing in the Brooke Goes To College comics when I eventually resume them.

Francisco and Madeline - Colored Sketch

Good to be back home and working again. Had some time today to get this colored up from my sketchbook. Getting down color patterns and bodies and such.

Someone once mentioned that Madeline should probably have an unshaven fullbush look due to her profession. I kind of like the contrast of what's underneath, though, so I decided against it. Plus, I haven't determined if it's something that some anthro characters just don't grow or what.. but that's strange. Anyway.

Sketches Away From Home - Sophia and Pepper

So, who are all these new weirdoes? Gearing up for Brooke's return home during her first break from college means new characters and families. Brooke's character gravity is spinning off new, stimulating ecosystems of dysfunctional characters, first at college, and now at home.

Madeline Away From Home

A rough sketch I did during some free time away from home. First time trying to get down what I want her naked body to look like. I thought about a kind of slim frame on which there are more sizable accoutrements. 

Sketch is probably off balance, because I tried to make it organic and "slinky" while also drawing it profile, free hand, away from home. Don't judge me too harshly.

Not quite sold on the dog's black hair, yet. But we'll see.

Sketching away from home

Some spare time sketching while away from home. The first is me giving Brooke’s older brother a couple of friends. The second is a revisitation of Rachel, who may be ready to move on to another phase of her adventurous existence in a year or so. The last is a self deprecating comparison of how I currently draw Sissy versus Rachel, who I haven’t drawn in years.

Let's Pretend It's 04-05-2021 (Comic Rewards)

Decided instead of trying to update the comic while I'm out of town, I'll just do it before I leave. I got all six new Penny pages finished for "Penny's Problem", so there's no reason to not do it now and make sure everything goes smoothly.

Announcery - March and April

Scheduling announcements for this month and next month. My time is tight! So if you're wondering where all the sketches and pictures of newer characters like Billie and Madeline are, they may be scarce. So here's how things are lined up:

Madeline's Hair - Sketch

Something I sketched quickly in front of the television after work yesterday. I've been meaning to do more of that lately.

You can always see a nun in your mind, but when you have to imagine how all that stuff constructs itself and is removed in pieces, you realize you need to do a little research. The two-part robe is just my own artistic flare on it, more or less.

The Re-Hairing of Desdemona

One evening, I decided to do some quick sketches of Desdemona (Beth's older sister) with her hair grown out a bit. She needs to appear in another comic page that's kind of an appendix to Beth's last comic story.

Omo Kaori

I originally thought about this idea in regards to Lynne. But I couldn't think of any regular lovers she has who're strong enough to hold her up like that.

I may redesign Kaori's color pattern a little bit and leave her orange between the thighs, instead of advancing the black pattern all the way down. Could be a color project for the future.

I imagine Bruce's hat fell off.

Almost Caught - Shades

These sketches existed in my sketchbook for about a week or so, before I got around to shading them here. I may color them when there's some more time in the future. Not sure. At any rate, it could form the premise of a quick (read: shorter) comic in the future, to pad out all these longer ones I've been mired in.

Comic Rewards 03-05-2021

These comics are starting to get long. It could be the new normal, maybe? I may plan a few short ones to intersperse here and there. But this will be another that probably goes into the high 20s. But I like how it's coming out, and I like drawing Claire again. She's a bit different than the bodies I normally like.

The back issues are unchanged until May, when "Online" will be a year old. For now, here is the link to back issue downloads.

February Schedulization

This is my annual complaint about how much February sucks, because it's so short. There's sooooo much I want to do, but right now I'm prioritizing wrapping up six new pages for "Penny's Problem". There are sketch ideas I have, sketches I've done in pencils and want to spruce up and share, but I can't because I'm busy with the have-to stuff. But I'm keeping in touch so you don't think I'm just figuratively sitting on my ass.

This was a sketch I did in my sketchbook in front of the television one night, and I found the time to give her some coloring.

Warmup - The Nun

For years, I've sometimes flirted with the idea of a nun character, but never went beyond individual images with it. My thoughts tended to swing between her succumbing reluctantly to sinful temptations, to being an outright closeted hedonist or satanist, hiding it very well.

Finished this one up with some weekend spare time. It's sort of playing into a theme I wanted to explore, about the kinky sex lives of seemingly ordinary people, with contrasts to their mundane ordinariness.

An Ordinary Couple - WIP

The steering committee wanted more Lucy, so I came up with some more Lucy. This is just a work in progress, which I'll color and add text to, when I have time. Normally, that means real soon. But I still have to finish one more page for the comic rewards update on the 5th, so that takes priority.

This could end up being a little series for a bit.

Steering Committee Poll - Help Make Up My Mind

As I sit down to do extra images and sketches, I've had a hard time making up my mind on who to depict. So I'm making a list for you to help me be more decisive. 

There'll likely be another character sheet in the mix, if I haven't done one already. But I may edit it to add a few more fields with explanatory text, rather than just ranking fetishes. We'll see!

RPG-Like Sex Sheet WIP

I spent more time on this than I probably should have, making a template and then filling in some line work to see how it looks as a concept. I had this notion for some kind of RPG like sheet that revolved around sex.

If I had the time to do these more for characters, it might help further differentiate which characters like what things, and which do not, and to what degree.

Anyway, I'll probably finish up this one, but I'm not sure how many I'll do overall. I may also look for a ...
