PSA - Staples Are Out

I got my surgical staples removed on Friday and replaced with some sticky shit that will fall off on its own in time.

I'm in the process of reacclimating myself to getting back into drawing after a 2+ Week hiatus. And I'm not going to lie, I feel...OFF...with the incision pain, it's a little difficult for me to concentrate, and I'm getting some severe art block.

I'm Home

Hey, everyone. I'm back home, under my own roof from the hospital. Thank  you everyone that prayed for me and my operation's success. I am very  tired. I'm still in no shape to do any sort of work, and my  surgeon/endocrinologist specifically told me to get rest while my  incision heals. No lifting, no strenuous work, and low impact exercise  to get my strength back. Next week I have a few appointments to go to,  including getting the surgical staples removed fro...

PSA - Surgery/Health Update

Got two calls today, I'll get straight to the point.

First doctor discussed with me about my genetics, and my dna sampling came back in, and they've discovered I have a mutation in my genes, one that is prone to me having a higher risk at developing benign tumors and pheochromocytoma (which I have). Another thing they've discovered and spoken to me about, is that I'm at a higher risk at developing kidney cancer. So they want to keep an eye on me and do yearly scans to make sure complica...

Health Update

Got back from Pittsburgh again, got poked for my blood again, did CT scans on my body again to make sure the tumors are still where theyre at and haven't migrated to any other parts of my body. I have a physical next week, then another CT scan appointment next week as well.

The date of my surgery is the 12th of July so, expect me to be out of commission around that time, not sure how long recovery is going to take on my surgery.

PSA: Health Update

I'm back from my trip to the doctor in Pittsburgh. For the sake of my health, because my BP is constantly high that down the road it will cause me major issues, the endocrinologist has decided it is best to remove both of my adrenal glands. I've already gotten opinions from other doctors about this procedure and basically..if I keep my adrenal glands in (I have Pheochromocytoma), I'm at risk of having a stroke or a heart attack.

Removing both glands means I'll have to take a supplement ...
