I made the test animation and tracked the progress of how much time I used to do the sprite, rigging, and animation.

It did save a lot of time!

but it needs a bit of tuning maybe?

Short hair and higher-definition Hiro +bones animation.

I could also remake all the character sprites to use bone animation and higher definition.

this helps save a lot of time, is easier to implement & animate, and looks smoother but, using this will cause a loss of pixel art aesthetic

I decided to publish this build for you guys!!

it's got a lot of bugs tho or so I think it is.

I'm not good with writing dialogue and story (lol) it comes out funnier than I expected.

Hope you enjoy this build! it'll be released for the public as well (sorry)

• 3 enterable interior

• dialogue and choices 

in this build, I aim to expand more on interaction and plot systems rather than working on the combat system and it's still a prototype I'll mix and match the gameplay to see what works!

sorry for the slow update. I'm busy with some college stuff. I might cut off some content for the Chapter 1-1 demo :(

I estimate that it will be ready in a week!

here are some features that will be improved or added to the demo.

• dialogues, choices, and things to do.

• more detailed close-up animation.

• adjustment on the animation system
